EXCITING INFORMATION ABOUT A SONG IN THALA 57

Yogeswaran Veerasingam aka Yogi B, the Malaysian Tamil Hip Hop singer, who was a part of GV Prakash’s Polladhavan in the number Engeyum Eppodhum is not a new name to Tamil cinema. He had made his debut appearance in Vijay’s Kuruvi too.

Now, in an event in Singapore, he has revealed that he has sung a song in Anirudh’s music in Thala 57.

He says, “Actually music director only should speak about this. But from my side, I can say that it is a very unique song. It will have hip hop, EDM and other sounds too. It is an amazing number and please wait for it”.

 

THALA 57 SHOOTING POSTPONED!

Some reports say Thala Ajith has started shooting for his upcoming untitled film directed by Siva since yesterday (23rd Jan).

But when we checked about this with our sources close to the team, they told us that the shooting has been put on hold temporarily because of the Jallikattu protest. The team is likely to start the next schedule in a couple of days in Chennai. Portion involving Vivek Oberoi would apparently be canned while Ajith is expected to join the sets at a later date.

As reported by us earlier, the makers are eyeing a Ramzan 2017 (23rd June) release.

THALA 57 TITLE, THE ‘V’ SENTIMENT TO CONTINUE…

The shooting of Thala Ajith’s untitled film resumed in Chennai a couple of days ago. Few fight scenes are being shot currently. A set worth 25lakhs has been erected in outskirts of Chennai. AK 57 team will start shooting in that massive set from this Monday, 30th January. The first look poster of the film is expected to be released very soon.

This project is still untitled, and we are told that the makers are looking for a title that starts with the letter ‘V'. Apparently, the title ‘Vivegam’ seems to be the 1st option at the moment, and if the team doesn’t find a more suitable title to the script, they might very well go with this.

Breaking updates on shooting progress of Thala Aith's 'AK 57'

As we all know Thala Ajith's 'AK 57' was predominantly shot in Bulgaria and its nearby countries as it will be an International espionage thriller flick. A few weeks back the team seems has returned to Chennai without completing the shoot against the earlier plan. Ajith participated in the Silent protest organised by the Nadigar Sangam on January 20, 2017.

Now we learn from reliable sources that the shooting of 'AK 57' is actually progressing in Chennai. The shooting has been happening in a set erected in Binny Mills amid tight security arrangements.

When we further inquired with sources close to the unit, they revealed that the team is actually shooting the indoor sequences. Later this month the unit will again fly to Bulgaria to shoot some important sequences.

Directed by Siva and produced by Sathya Jyothi Films banner, 'AK 57' stars Ajith and Kajal Aggarwal in lead roles. The film is expected to hit the screens in June 2017.
