    മലയാളത്തിലേക്ക് മറ്റൊരു യുവനായികയെ കൂടി അവതരിപ്പിക്കുകയാണ് പൂമരത്തിലൂടെ എബ്രിഡ് ഷൈൻ. സെന്റ് തെരേസാസ് കോളജിന്റെ മിടുക്കി. പൂമരം കണ്ടിറങ്ങിയവരെല്ലാം തിരഞ്ഞത് ഈ പെൺകുട്ടിയെയാണ്. പുതുമുഖം നീതാപിള്ളയാണ് കോളജ് യൂണിയന്‍ ചെയര്‍പേഴ്‌സണ്‍ ഐറിന്‍ എന്ന കഥാപാത്രമായി പൂമരത്തിൽ തിളങ്ങിയ പുതുമുഖം.

    മഹാരാജാസും സെന്റ് തെരേസാസും തമ്മിലുള്ള മത്സരമാണ് പൂമരത്തിന്റെ പ്രമേയം. മഹാരാജാസ് ചെയർമാൻ ആയ ഗൗതമായി കാളിദാസന് എത്തുന്നു.

    കോളജിന്റെ അഭിമാനം കാക്കാന്‍ അഞ്ചുവര്‍ഷമായി തുടര്‍ച്ചയായി നേടുന്ന ആ കപ്പ് ഇവിടുന്ന് കൊണ്ടു പോകുന്നതു പോലെ തിരിച്ചെത്തിക്കും എന്ന ആത്മവിശ്വാസത്തിലാണ് ഐറിൻ എത്തുന്നത്. നേതാവിന്റെ ശരീരഭാഷയും സംസാരവുമൊക്കെ കൃത്യമായി പ്രതിഫലിപ്പിക്കാൻ നീതുവിന് കഴിഞ്ഞു.

    2015ല്‍ അമേരിക്കയിലെ ഹൂസ്റ്റണിൽ നടന്ന മിസ് ബോളിവുഡ് പേജന്റിലെ സെക്കന്‍ഡ് റണ്ണര്‍ അപ്പ് ആയിരുന്ന നീത, അമേരിക്കയിലെ തന്നെ ലൂയിസിയാന സര്‍വ്വകലാശാലയിലെ വിദ്യാര്‍ഥിനിയായിരുന്നു. എറണാകുളം സ്വദേശിയായ അവര്‍ ബംഗലൂരുവിൽ എൻജിനീയറിങ് പഠനം കഴിഞ്ഞു പെട്രോളിയം എൻജിനീയറിങ്ങിൽ ഉപരിപഠനത്തിനായാണ് അമേരിക്കയില്‍ എത്തിയത്.
