In Junga, the actor is also the producer!
We were the first to report that actor Vijay Sethupathi will be playing a don in the film Junga. The movie, which is being directed by Gokul, has Sayyeshaa pairing up with the actor. And now, we have an exclusive update — the movie will be produced by Vijay Sethupathi himself. A source close to the team says, “Gokul and Vijay Sethupathi have earlier worked together in Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara and share a good equation. When Gokul narrated the script, he went silent for almost a minute and then decided to produce the film himself. He is very excited to be a part of the film and has already started preparing for the role. The actor will be investing close to `20 crore in this project. It is big step for him in his movie career and will see him diversifying into a new area. Almost 70 per cent of the film will be shot in Paris and the rest will be filmed in Chennai, Tuticorin and Ramanathapuram.”

 

Junga is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language mafia comedy film written and directed by Gokul The film will feature Vijay Sethupathi, Sayyeshaa and Madonna Sebastian in the lead roles.
