http://behindwoods.com/tamil-movies...chcham-yenbadhu-madamaiyada-songs-review.html Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada is an upcoming romantic film directed by Gautham Menon, starring Silambarasan and Manjima Mohan in lead roles. Music for the film is composed by A.R.Rahman. Verdict: Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada is an apt album from the creative combination of AR Rahman - Gautham Menon. This duo never disappoints! ( 3.5 / 5.0 )
#AYM is a fabulous album from AR Rahman, very much in line with the celebrated combo. Something special in every track.
As much as we are addicted to Thalli Pogadhe and Raasaali, the peppy Showkali is complete fun. Rocket speed, exciting rap war. #AYM
Avalum Naanum - the only underwhelming song for me. Idhu Naal is severely Omana Penne-ish, but still has high slow poison capabilities. #AYM
Showkali - Rap, Arabic, Tamil Folk. Sounds like Sheer Noise & Madness but there is a method to it. Can't listen to it on loop. But, Wow!
Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada Songs - Music Review Akilan Nagarajan | Reviewpuram Avalum Naanum ✔ Singer: Vijay Yesudas |Lyrics: Pavendhar Bharathidhasan With Avalum Naanum, the album starts off to this serene Vijay Yesudas rendition of an instantly catchy track. The song keeps getting better with entirely unpredictable interludes that capitalise on the most ordinary of instruments. This is Rahman at his minimalist best, something he has adapted as a style for Tamil music in the past few years. The album thus reaches a high right here, with GVM already putting his stamp on point. Thalli Pogadhey ✔ Singers: Sid Sriram, Aparna Narayanan, ADK | Lyrics:Thamarai Thalli Pogadhey works purely due to the clarity in lyrics and the way it holds back on its primary hook. The track is simply uplifting, and Sid Sriram renders it with flair. This is a number with international appeal, and not all of such tracks are known to play to the galleries. But this one has already proved itself with the overwhelming response from all quarters. Idhu Naal Varayil Singers: Aditya Rao, Jonita Gandhi | Lyrics: Madhan Karky Idhu Naal Varayil has inspiring vocals from Aditya Rao, who peaks at the end of the track. The climax is the best part of this number, as it pays off more than what one would expect from the seemingly wayward build up. Another track which doesn’t let you guess where it is heading, but once it nears the end, the experience provides an unparalleled high. Showkali Singers: Aditya Rao, Aaryan Dinesh Kanagaratnam, Sri Raskol Showkali sees ARR exploring his techno cells to full power, and he infuses a wide range of styles – including Arabic and Tamil folk – to provide an erratic yet appealing dance number. The track can be literally divided into separate parts according to the blend of tunes that are also ringtone-worthy. Rasaali ✔ Singeres: Sathya Prakash, Shashaa Tirupati | Rasaali is the lyrical gem that one would look for in any GVM album. Sathyaprakash and Shashaa Tirupati share few enchantingly relatable lines in terms of the heart. The song traverses a plethora of romantic emotions, stuff that would have taken several pages of dialogue. This is a song that explains why cinema needs songs. With visuals, one can expect this track to be the most memorable one from the film. GauthamVasudev Menon is back with yet another classic extraction from his music director. He gets the best out of his composers within the particular framework that they happen to be working in. In here, it is the unpredictability of ARR that he has brought out to excellent results. This is that album where every song is a winner in its own unique way, and the scope it carries is enthralling. Rahman hits the right chords everywhere in this album, and is all set for runaway success. This is his new-found style at its best. He has finally arrived at all the spots he was searching for all these days. Rating : 3.75/5
