MERSAL is Kollywood’s 3rd Biggest Grosser in INDIA and also WORLDWIDE, only behind Rajinikanth’s Enthiran and
Kabali. However if one consider
only Tamil (or even Telugu) version of film, it was Biggest ever as the former two had ₹30 odd crores coming from Hindi version.


Film grossed ₹176.67 crores in India till date, which is 5th (4th if not considering Dangal) Biggest of 2017,just behind Raees ₹179.34 crores. In Overseas it grossed ₹77.43 crores or $11.93 millions, which is 4th biggest of year behind Dangal, Baahubali 2 and Raees. In
All time list, film was good enough to enter Top 30 domestic grosser while #22 in worldwide charts.
