Star brothers Suriya and Karthi who are known for their philanthropic activities have donated Rs.25 Lakhs to the Chief Ministers Relief Fund. Suriya handed over the cheque to Nadigar Sangam President Nassar through whom it will reach the fund.



Murmers could be heard about the big stars completely ignoring the unfortunate people who have lost their homes and belongings but first Vishal and now the Sivakumar brothers have taken steps to give a helping hand.

 

It is well known that Karthi’s next much awaited project is with the legendary director Mani Ratnam. Through few sources we learn a major change in Karthi’s itinerary. It is speculated that the Mani Ratnam project might kick start only by the month of November and in this interim gap Karthi will be involved in a project that will be helmed by Sathuranga Vettai fame director, Vinoth.

This project is touted to be produced by Vasan Visual Ventures. It should be noted that few days ago reports suggesting that Karthi will act in Prabhu Deva’s direction for the above mentioned production house took its rounds. Now, does this mean that Vinoth replaced Prabhu Deva or is it going to be two projects for two directors that will be funded by Vasan Visual Ventures?

Before Mani Film, Karthi To Do One More Project?

Karthi was recently injured while performing risky stunts for the period portions of his upcoming big budget supernatural horror film, Kashmora.

In Kashmora, Karthi plays a dual role and he also has two beautiful divas in the film, Nayanthara and Sri Divya. After Kashmora, Karthi actually had plans to shoot for Mani Ratnam but now it looks like, the actor is planning to act in a film with director Vinoth of Sathuranga Vettai fame.

It is said that Mani Ratnam's film will commence only in November and hence, Karthi is likely to shoot for Vinoth's film first.
