Director Karthik Subbaraj's 'Iraivi' is all set to hit the screens this Friday. There is a tremendous pre-release buzz about the project as Karthik has given two back to back super hits and this is his third film. The multi-starrer cast of the film that includes Vijay Sethupathi, Anjali, Bobby Simha, SJ Suryah and Kamalini Mukharjee is also the reason for the phenomenal expectations surrounding the film.

As we had reported earlier 'Iraivi' has been produced by C.V.Kumar under the Thirukumaran Entertainments banner. K.E.Gnanavel Raja of Studiogreen and Abinesh Ilangovan of Abi & Abi are involved in the worldwide distribution of the film.

Now another leading corporate house has entered the fray as distributors of 'Iraivi'. Abinesh has confirmed that Jazz Cinemas has joined the distribution cycle of 'Iraivi' and they will be releasing the film in Chennai. He has also said that he expects at least 300 screens in Tamil Nadu alone for the film.

With this, Jazz Cinemas is expected to make strong inroads in Tamil Tinsel world. They recently acquired a multiplex located in a swanky mall in Velachery, Chennai. They are also reported to have involved in the Chennai city distribution of Thala Ajith's blockbuster 'Vedalam' that released in November 2015 but there was no official confirmation on this.

 

A few hours beofre it was confirmed that Jazz Cinemas will be releasing Karthik Subbaraj's much expected multi-starrer 'Iraivi' that will be hitting the screens this Friday (June 3). Now it has come out that the same company will be releasing another Tamil film releasing on the same day in Chennai.

Vishnu Vishal who has acted in the lead role and also producer 'Velainu Vandhutta Vellaikaaran' has announced that Jazz Cinemas will be releasing their film in theatrical rights Chennai on June 3.

This is definitely a rare phenomenon that a same company releasing two Tamil films on the same day in the Tamil Nadu State capital which contributes a huge part of film distribution business.
