Now that the release date is nearing soon, various details are coming out about Rajnikanth’s Kabali. The latest news that has come out is that other than the commercial angle in the film, Kabali will have a strong social message for the masses.

Rajni plays an ageing don in this film who fights for the rights of Tamils in Malaysia. Directed by Ranjith Pa, Kabali will also have some very emotional moments as well which will keep the family audience at bay.

Radhika Apte plays Rajni’s wife in this film which is up for a release this 22nd of July.

 

After setting a new trend with advertisements on aeroplanes, the movie ‘Kabali’ has taken another unique route for promotions. Because of the massive pan India popularity of brand Rajini, the movie unit is able to pull off such exclusive deals with corporates.

Kabali movie has now partnered with Airtel, for Kabali branded SIM cards. If Rajini fans buy these SIM cards, they will be able to access exclusive Kabali wallpapers and photos. The promotion was rolled out by the Telecom major today.

With less than 10 days remaining for the release of this eagerly awaited blockbuster, the movie unit is stepping up promotions aggressively.

 

Singapore is home to many Indians, and Superstar Rajinikanth is known to have an extensive fan base here. With Kabali’s release date quickly approaching, the film’s distribution rights are almost sold out all over the world.

According to the latest updates, noted actor-producer Arun Pandian has snapped up the Singapore distribution rights of Kabali. Arun Pandian was a character artist in Tamil and Telugu films before retiring and becoming the chief producer at Ayngaran International.

Meanwhile, Kabali’s expectations are sky-high, and Rajini fans are eager to see their star after a gap of one and a half year. The gangster drama is hitting the screens on July 22nd.

 

Off late, the range of Telugu cinema has become huge in the overseas market. Especially in the US, Telugu films are being welcomed with open arms and this has become an lucrative area for distributors to mint money.

Same is the case for Rajnikanth’s Kabali too as the overseas distributors of the film are planning to release the film in nearly 400 screens all over the US. This includes both the Tamil and Telugu versions respectively.
