Recently, we reported that the makers of Rajinikanth-starrer Kabali have moved the Madras High Court against the Internet Service Providers (ISPs) in India from allowing the streaming of pirated copies of their film online.

In a much needed respite for the film’s makers, the court on Friday passed an interim order asking the 169 registered ISPs in India from permitting illegal downloads and barring the online exhibition of Kabali, which is slated to hit the screens worldwide on July 22.

The order also restraints multi-system operators (MSOs) from permitting illegal telecast of Kabali by cable operators registered with them.

 

Just a few days ago, the Tamil version of Super Star Rajinikanth’s much anticipated gangster drama, Kabali, completed its censor formalities with a clean U certificate.

According to the latest update, the film’s Telugu version too has completed the censor scrutiny this afternoon. The censor panel has cleared Kabali’s Telugu version also with a clean U certificate, which means that the film will be a complete family entertainer.

Kabali, directed by PA Ranjith and produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu, is all set for its worldwide release on July 22.

 

n a recent media interaction, producer Kalaipuli Dhanu has stated that he is extremely confident on the final product of Kabali, and that the film would surely cross the 500 crore mark worldwide. Dhanu also added that Kabali is a film which has the potential to beat Baahubali’s Himalayan record.

Superstar Rajinikanth will be flying down to Chennai on the 20th, after his sojourn in the USA, which is now completed.

Kabali is now set for a worldwide release on the 22nd of July, with premieres from Thursday onwards. The film will be releasing in a record number of screens in several parts of the world.
