`Soggade Chinni Nayana` is an Enjoyable,SupernaturalFamily entertainer Story : Soggade Chinni Nayana is the story of Bangarraju (Nagarjuna), his Son`s struggling Marital Life (Nagarjuna) and the Hidden Secrets behind the former`s Death. How Bangarraju after being sent back to earth as a Ghost visible only to his wife saves his son`s Marriage and avenges his killing thus saving Family forms the rest. Performances: It is Nagajuna`s Show all the way!. He has enacted two entirely opposite roles with complete ease and is simply terrific. Ramya Krishna Did well and is apt. Lavanya did a fine job. Brahmi, Nazar, Sampath, Posani, Hamsa, Anasuya and Saptagiri are adequate. Anushka had a good special Cameo. Technical Departments: Music: Anup`s tunes are a plus and Background Score is equally good. Cinematography: Fine. Editing: Fair. Action/Stunts: Adequate, although over the top. Analysis : Soggade Chinni Nayana is like a Old Wine in New Bottle. It is mostly sweet and is a Watchable and Enjoyable affair. The film`s 1st half is especially entertaining with Bangarraju providing us loads of laughter. The 2nd half has considerable lag in the middle but ends with a solid good climax. Comedy is Okay but the Romantic parts have worked out well. The Supernatural elements made this an interesting affair despite its share of flaws. `SCN` is a perfect Festival film with some thing for every one appealing to all sections of audience. `Express Raja` is a Largely Enjoyable Comedy Ride with a dash of Romance & Crime. Story : An aimless wanderer Raja (Sharwanand) and his Friend (Prabhas Seenu) land in Hyderabad. Raja falls for a girl (Surbhi) and finally when things are about to get positive, the latter`s Pup Dog spoils the party. Now Raja has to find and bring the Pup back but there lies the twist in the tale and multiple interlinked threads!. Performances: Sharwanand did a Fabulous Job and is especially great with his comedy timing!. Surbhi is more than adequate. Prabhas Seenu plays important role and is good. Saptagiri in a full length role is a laugh riot. Shakalaka Shankar is Damn good. Supreet, Harish, Urvasi and etc are adequate. Technical Departments: Music: Praveen Lakkaraju`s tunes are good, and songs are shot well. Cinematography: Adequate. Editing: Good. Action: Adequate. Analysis : `Express Raja` is largely predictable but still mostly entertaining!. It is the well-knit Screen-play which makes the film going and works in its favor. The 1st half is cool and is okay. The 2nd half is a laugh riot with comedy completely taking over. On the flip side, romantic track could have been better but it has only limited scope. There is never a dull moment in this comedy which makes it an easy one time watch for common audience although it is laced with lot of cliches. Production values are also a plus. Watch It!. Plus: 1. Weak Romance Rating: 3.25 / 5 (You can watch it) Box-office Verdict : The film is receiving Decent to positive reports from the Audience. `Nannaku Prematho` is a Classy Revenge thriller. A Petty Okay film Critically but may not appeal to all the audience. Story : Abhiram (NTR), an upcoming entrepreneur learns about his Father`s (Rajendra Prasad) past after the latter is diagnosed with a Life Threatening Cancer. The Emotional Father has a dying wish and Abhiram Decides to go to any lengths to fulfill it. The Rest is all about how Abhi outsmarts his Target, Krishna Murthy (Jagapathi Babu) and his Love Journey with the Daughter, Divyanaka (Rakupreet). Performances: NTR Jr is simply sensational with a Stylish Makeover in this. He is nothing short of brilliant in Emotional and Confrontational Scenes. Tarak`s Dances are also good although there is nothing special about them. He has once again proved himself as one of the Best Actors in his Generation. Jagapathi Babu is superb and is very apt. Rakulpreet also did well in a meaty role and her own dubbing complemented the character very well. Rajendra Prasad is equally good. Rajiv Kanakala, Srinivas Avasarala, Tagubothu Ramesh and etc., are adequate. `Roja` fame Madhoo had a nice & key guest appearance. Technical Departments: Music: DSP`s tunes are a major plus and Background Score is equally good. Cinematography: Simply Top Class Work from Vijay!. Editing: Presentation is good but it Should have been a shorter affair. Action/Stunts: Pretty good work and mostly realistic. Analysis : The 1st half of the flick is average and 2nd half is much better and is okay to good. `Nannaku Prematho` starts off on a very slow note and takes a lot of time to build things up. The Romantic track and Hero-Villain duals are the positives in the 1st half. The 2nd half deals with Main subject and is especially good in the last Half-an-hour where the total plan is revealed. Dialogues and Emotions have worked in the film largely (depending on the viewer). Heavy usage of Technology and Science in Many scenes could prove to be a minus as Most of Telugu audience wouldn`t be able to enjoy or understand them fully. But it is a Watchable one thanks to Performances, Visuals and Music but could have been much shorter. One might feel a drag at times considering the film gets slowed down at multiple stages. As it is obviously a fresh breeze of air from regular typical entertainers, you may Try this. Highlights : 1. NTR-Jagapathi 1st Meet. 2. Rakul`s Mom. 3. Again the Climax Dual of NTR-Jagapathi. Plus: 1. Performances. 2. Music. 3. Visuals. Minus 1. Too Long. 2. Slow at times. 3. Limited appeal to Telugu Audience. Rating: 3 / 5 ( You May Try It) Box-office Verdict : The film has to cash in on as much as it can in this Festive 5 Days. It has scope to do Decent Business in A Centers and Overseas considering the lack of Proper Commercial Aspects and appeal. With Multiple films lined-up, it is very hard to predict Box-office Result. Best Possible Result one can expect from this is `Average`.
Express Raja` is Doing Fairly Good Business in all Leading Centers and Multiplexes, especially in Nizam. The film has Grossed around 3.5 Crore worldwide in 2 Days and has posted a slightly bigger total on 2nd day than 1st riding on Positive Word of mouth and Sankranthi. It has been released in only Limited screens and has 3 Biggies running along side it. This is a Good start for the flick considering all these factors and is poised to end with a Good Weekend. Makers released the film on their own in Most areas and `they are expecting` to recover inside 1st week. This offcourse depends on Weekdays. `Express Raja` Will be Released in Karnataka and Rest of Indian States on 22nd January.

`Express Raja` after getting a Decent Start has gained lots of momentum in the weekend. The film has done especially very well in Nizam & Overseas and has grossed Over 7.5 Crores Worldwide in 4 Days at the Festive Box-office. It has grossed 2.8 Crores in Nizam alone and another 1.7 Crores in USA. The Figures are Pretty good considering the 4-way clash and limited screens release!. It is made on a limited budget of 5.5 Crores and Total Landing Cost including all is only 7 Crores. Makers released the flick on their own risk in all areas. `Express Raja` has also started its 1st Monday on a good note with Lots of fulls being reported in all leading centers!. More Centers are also being planned for next week. This is now looking all set to become another Box-office success for UV Creations & Sharwanand Combo!.
