Raashi will be seen in half saris and traditional costumes and typical village belle’s attire. Raashi plays an independent girl in the film and will be seen as Jagapathi Babu’s daughter.
Popular for his towering height and menacing looks, Bollywood villain Vikramjeet Virk made a huge mark in Telugu films through Balayya’s Dictator, Puri’s Heart Attack and Anushka’s Rudhramadevi. Now, the young villain has bagged a plum offer in the form of an Indo-China project. Titled Buddies in India, a sequel to the 2012 film Lost in Thailand, the film will be directed by well known Chinese actor director Wang Baoqiang. Vikramjeet will be essaying the role of Bull Demon King, a popular character in Chinese mythology. Vikramjeet was shooting for Dictator when the Chinese crew was scouting for a suitable actor. A casting director spotted him and felt he looked exactly like the Bull Demon King and signed him immediately. Vikramjeet completed shooting for the film recently in Jaisalmer, Jaipur and Jodhpur.

Currently, Nani is awaiting the release of Gentleman, a romantic thriller, which is due for its release on June 17. From the past few weeks there have been several rumours that Pawan Kalyan will be doing a film with Harish Shankar who gave him the solid hit Gabbar Singh. Latest update reveals that the project in discussion is the remake of Ajith’s recent release Vedhalam. If you can remember, we had reported some time earlier that Pawan Kalyan had a special screening of this film but nothing came out after that. Now, talks are that the same film might be remade with Harish as the director. Pawan already has a film with S J Surya and if everything goes right this film will shape up once that film is wrapped up. Currently, Pawan is holidaying overseas and an official confirmation is yet to be made about this project.
Young Rebel Star Prabhas is awaiting the next schedule of his ongoing magnum opus, Baahubali The Conclusion. The film’s fresh schedule will start soon and the makers are planning to wrap up the entire shooting part by October. Soon after he finishes Baahubali, Prabhas will move on to young filmmaker Sujeeth’s film. There has been a huge buzz for this film since its announcement and already, several production houses from Tamil and Bollywood are reportedly in talks with the film’s producers at UV Creations to make the film as a Telugu, Tamil and Hindi trilingual. The upcoming comedian said in a recent interview that he considers Pawan Kalyan his god and that Pawan even appreciated his performance in films like Express Raja and Run Raja Run. In 2000, the Puri-Jagapathi Babu combo gave Bachi, which was also Puri’s second film after Pawan Kalyan’s Badri. Now, the star combo is all set to materialize once again for the Puri-Kalyanram film. Sundeep Kishan’s romantic thriller, Okka Ammayi Thappa is busy with its post production formalities. Latest update reveals that the film is set for a June 10th release. The buzz for the film is quite good as the entire story takes place on Hyderabad flyover. Rajasimha Tadinada is the film’s director and Anji Reddy has produced this film. Following the much needed success of his last film, Nenu Sailaja, young hero Ram currently has a film with his Kandireega director Santosh Srinivas on floors. Now, according to the ongoing buzz, Ram is in talks with Karunakaran, who earlier directed Endukante Premanta, for yet another love story. Karunakaran reportedly narrated the storyline to Ram recently, and highly impressed with it, Ram gave his nod to the project. The script work is going on at the moment and Ram’s uncle and senior producer Sravanthi Ravi Kishore is expected to produce this film under his Sravanthi Movies banner.
