Known for his special appearances and crucial roles in films like Nani, Ye Maaya Chesave, Orange and Businessman etc, actor-producer Sanjay Swaroop, brother-in-law of Superstar Mahesh Babu, has taken a break from acting after his last film, Antha Scene Ledu, in 2014. According to the latest updates, Sanjay Swaroop will make his comeback to acting with young hero Vijay Devarakonda’s upcoming film Arjun Reddy. Apparently, Sanjay will be paying a crucial role in the film. This urban love story will be directed by debutant Sandeep Vanga and the regular shooting will kick-start from the 20th of this month.
Life has come full circle for young hero Sundeep Kishan, who kick-started the shooting of his next film Nakshatram in Krishna Vamsi’s direction, yesterday. Sundeep is a huge fan of Krishna Vamsi and he went nostalgic about his struggling days as he wrapped up the first day’s work with his favorite director. The young hero took to his Twitter profile last night and tweeted, “Sent KV sir that msg in 2009..& today was my 1st day of shoot with him..life has come a full circle #Nakshatram”. In that May, 2009 message, Sundeep messaged Krishna Vamsi after the director accepted his friend request on Facebook and expressed his desire to work with him someday. Well, dreams do come true in this glamour world and one only needs to pursue them constantly.

Popular Telugu filmmaker Malkapuram Sivakumar, who produced Nikhil’s Surya Vs Surya and Manoj’s Shourya, is producing this film, which will be directed by Murugadoss Ramaswamy.

Meeku Meere Maaku Meme has been making quite a buzz in the film media circles despite being a small budget flick. Starring debutants Tarun Shetty and Avantika Mishra, the film is being aggressively advertised all over the social media network. At a recent press meet, Tarun said that the movie is an entirely new love story and that the film is based on the love between an intelligent guy and a naive girl. Apparently, the title has been inspired the evergreen hit song, Meeku Meere, from the film Maisamma. Directed by Hussain Sha Kiran, the film has been produced by Nakama Planet Green Studios. The film is slated to hit the screens this Friday.
VI Anand, who shot to fame with his debut flick Tiger, is back with a romantic thriller titled Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavaada. The film stars Nikhil along with Hebbah Patel and Nandita Shweta. At a recent press meet, VI Anand told the media that he has been working on the script of this film for close to three years. He also added that the storyline is completely new and will take the audience by surprise. Apparently, the story is based on real life incidents that happened to one of his colleagues and Nikhil plays the lead role and will be seen in a new look.
It is well known that Sundeep Kishan has recently begun shooting for his film, Nakshatram, under Krishna Vamsi’s direction. Unfortunately, the young hero met with a small accident on sets while shooting for an action sequence. It was luckily a minor injury as Sundeep walked off with only minor stitches on his head. Sundeep posted on his official Twitter account saying, “Hi guys..much better now,got a few stitches..just an unfortunate accident on Krishna Vamsi sirs set..action sequence..glad it came out well.” Meanwhile, the film is touted to be a high-voltage cop drama. Naga Shourya and Niharika Konidela’s much expected flick, Oka Manasu, has finally completed its censor formalities and is ready to hit the screens. The romantic drama has been rated a clean U and is slated to hit the screens worldwide on June 24th. The film has been directed by Rama Raju of Mallela Theeram Lo Sirimalle Puvvu fame while Madhura Sreedhar has bankrolled the flick.
