Priyadarshan had planned a big budget Russian based movie starring Mohanlal. However, the movie has been put on hold temporarily. Instead the director is planning a simple flick with the actor before beginning the big movie. The proposed movie is expected to begin rolling by February. Priyadarshan is reportedly waiting for the actor to return from his vacation and finalise the dates for the movie. The Mohanlal - Priyadarshan combo has always made big hits. The upcoming movie is expected to revive their good old days. More details regarding the movie yet to be made known.
Rajesh PIllai and crew has begun the second schedule of 'Vettah'. The shoot is on at the hilly terrains of Thenmala. The scenic location will be a major backdrop for this psychological thriller. The movie boasts of a talented cast including Kunchako Boban, Manju Warrier, Indrajith et al in pivotal roles. Manju plays an IPS officer and Indrajith as her deputy. Diretor Rajesh Pillai says that this movie would be the first of its kind in Malayalam cinema. The first schedule was at Kochi. Indrajith has updated that the shoot on at a brisk pace. Arunlal Ramachandran has scripted the movie.
