After wrapping up Jai Lava Kusa, Jr NTR will move on to his next — a Trivikram Srinivas directorial. Needless to say, expectations around the project are sky high. Sources close to the unit inform that the mahurat ceremony of the film will take place in the first week of November while regular shoot will commence in January. Trivikram is now busy with his Pawan Kalyan film. Dismissing speculation that he will shoot simultaneously for the Pawan Kalyan and Jr NTR projects, the source says, "The Jr NTR film will only be launched in November while shoot will begin in earnest in January. Trivikram would have wrapped up the Pawan Kalyan film by then. So, there's absolutely no question of working on both films at the same time because it's not feasible."
A few days ago, when director Trivikram Srinivas met Jr NTR, he profusely praised the actor’s three roles in Jai Lava Kusa — particularly the one which had a comedy angle. It is a well-known fact the Trivikram and Jr NTR are going to start working on a film from January onwards and a source in the know revealed that the duo had met to discuss their upcoming film’s subject.“Trivikram spoke more about the actor’s comedy role and told him that in his upcoming film he wants to portray Jr NTR’s role in a comic way. Usually, Trivikram is known for his punchy dialogues, but after the success of Jai Lava Kusa, he got more freedom to write more witty dialogues in his upcoming comic-drama,” said the source.
Riding high on the success of Jai Lava Kusa, actor Jr. NTR is all set for his next project with Trivikram. The star is likely to play a military operative in the film which is slated to go on the floors soon. While an official announcement is awaited from the makers, reliable sources close to Tarak have confirmed the news. However, it won’t be a patriotic as speculated by a section of media. It’ll fall in the Trivikram brand of commercial entertainers but Tarak’s role will be the biggest highlight. Having registering three back-to-back hits, NTR is making interesting career choices and is not quite keen on taking a wrong step. There are rumours that his film with Trivikram might be released in Tamil as well. However, unless such reports are confirmed from the makers’ end, they can’t be taken seriously. Anu Emmanuel, who is currently shooting for Pawan Kalyan’s yet-untitled film with Trivikram, is said to have been signed for this project as well. The Jalsa director really liked her commitment and decided to sign her on for his next film too. “He was really impressed with her work. Besides great looks, she is also highly talented which is a rare combination. In principal, she has been finalised for NTR’s project.Meanwhile, NTR’s Jai Lava Kusa, in which he played a triple role, has emerged as a blockbuster. Despite mixed reviews, the film has gone on to stir a box-office storm. In the US, it has breached into $1.5 million club, making it his third consecutive film to achieve that feat.
