Rajamouli’s Bahubali will complete one year of its mega release this July 10th. The film which created many records during its release time is now going to re-released yet again.

Reports suggest that the Kerala distributors, Global United Media has decided to release the film once again in the month of July. The Malayalam version also broke several box office records for a dubbed film.

Directed by S S Rajamouli, this film had Rana, Prabhas, Anushka and Tamannah in lead roles and collected over 600 crores during its release time.

Ever since Baahubali 2 went on floors, there has been a ring of buzz about the extended members of the cast that the sequel would have. In an interesting development, it now looks like the right actress has been found for Rana Daggubati's pair in the film.

Reliable sources in the industry have quoted that Shriya Saran, the pan Indian actress would be playing the role of Rana Daggubati's wife in the film.

Though an official confirmation is yet to arrive from the team's side, this happens to be a lovely news for those watching out for a birdie from the unit. Let's wait and see.

This weekend on the 10th of July, Baahubali celebrates the first anniversary of its theatrical release and social media is already abuzz with the #1YearForIndianEpicBaahubali hashtag trending prominently.

Released last year, Baahubali recreated box-office records in the two Telugu states and even became one of the highest grossing films in Bollywood and Kerala. The film also stood as the highest grossing film ever in Kannada.

Made with a budget of around 125 crore, this SS Rajamouli magnum opus went on to collect nearly 600 crores at the ticket windows, entering the top three highest grossing films in the history of Indian cinema. Arka Mediaworks produced this visual wonder that starred Prabhas, Anushka, Rana and Tamannaah and others.

This week has been quite eventful for the numero uno director of Tollywood, SS Rajamouli. Yesterday, Rajamouli’s second film and a sensational blockbuster, the NTR-starrer Simhadri, completed 13 years of its release. And today, his most celebrated film till date and Tollywood’s pride, Baahubali The Beginning, completes 1 year of its release.

Revisiting the memories, Rajamouli went nostalgic and tweeted about both the films, saying, “13 years back this day was one of the most joyous? Simhadri release. 12 years later one of the most tensed.. Day before Baahubali release.”

Amidst the celebrations of both these iconic films in his career, the Jakkanna of Tollywood is currently busy ‘sculpting’ the sequel to Baahubali, The Conclusion.
