Baahubali 2’s North America rights have been sold for a record 7 million USD to Great India Films, who will be releasing Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi versions in their territory. “We can now confirm that @greatindiafilms has partnered with @arkamediaworks to distribute Baahubali -2(Tel,Tam,Mal & Hindi) in North America”, posted the official Twitter handle of Great India Films. Meanwhile, Baahubali 2’s antagonist Rana Daggubati has gained extra weight and looks like a beast for the film. “Here goes the new and improved me!! #BiggerMeanerStronger for @BaahubaliMovie with @KunalGir”, tweeted the actor. × The first look of Baahubali 2 will be unveiled on October 22 and the film will be hitting the screens on April 28, 2017.

The principal shooting of SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus, Baahubali 2, is currently progressing briskly at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. The film was shot earlier in Kerala and later completed a crucial schedule at RFC.



Sources close to the film reveal that several vital sequences were canned in that schedule. Mainly, Prabhas is taking part in the shoot, which is happening at nights. The film is scheduled to be released in April, 2017.

 

Team Baahubali is betting big on VR (Virtual Reality) experience and director S.S. Rajamouli has already announced the same during a media meet that was held a few days ago. The team is being aided in this endeavour by renowned technology giant AMD.



The team is reportedly using some special cameras for the VR shoot. Sources say that Rajamouli, cameraman Senthil, the VFC team and AMD personnel have developed some innovative cameras that can be customised for the shoot.

Rajamouli is promising some spectacular and worldclass VR sequences that will be out a few weeks before the release of the main movie and these cameras are expected to help the team achieve that goal.

 

Rana is a busy man these days. He has a number of films lined up in his kitty and is now shooting for his latest film with Teja. He has already wrapped up his part for Baahubali 2 and says that the sequel will be more lethal and stun the audience.

Speaking about the film, he said that he worked his heart out to look even bulkier in the film. Adding further he said that the audience will have a feast lined up in term of action scenes and grandeur.

The shooting of the film will be wrapped up by the end of this yeat. The entire team has planned some humongous promotions as the film will release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam simultaneously.
