Rebel star Prabhas, looked in top form throughout Baahubali. Prabhas’s muscular and six pack look won superb appreciation from all quarters. Now, things will become even more deadly with the conclusion of Baahubali gearing up for release soon.





The rebel star will look even more chiseled in the sequel and the man behind this look is none other than Lakshman Reddy. The former Mr. World 2010 has worked with Prabhas for a long time and has trained him to get the lethal look.

Lakshman Reddy prepared a special diet for Prabhas which included different meals for both his looks in the film. Prabhas plays the mighty king and also Shivudu in Bahubali and needed a massive body transaction.

In one of this interviews, Lakshman says that Prabhas survived on egg whites, chicken, nuts, almonds, fish and boiled vegetables most of the time. Well, with Prabhas looking stunning in the trailer, most of the credit should definitely go this man who himself is a champion bodybuilder.

 

Now that the release date of Baahubali is loud and clear, the last minute formalities are on in full swing. As the film was simultaneously shot in Tamil as well, it will have a mega release in Tamil Nadu.



But the interesting fact is that the Tamil makers have decided not to release any of their films two weeks prior of after the release of Baahubali. Jayam Ravi’s film Vanamagan will only hit the screens on the May 12th and films like Power Paandi, Sivalinga and Kadamban will be releasing on April 14.

The news in Tamil circles is that the Tamil makers do not want to take any risk and compete against the magnum opus. Also, the various distributors who have spend some huge money for the rights feel that the film should have a free run at the box office without any competition.

Seeing all this, one thing is very sure that Baahubali has created unprecedented hype for itself and hope that it lives up to its expectations

 

The franchise of SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali is turning out to be bigger and bigger, and apart from the feature films, Arka Mediaworks, the production house behind the epic film, made it clear that they are keen on exploring other mediums like animated series, novels, TV show, comic books among other things.



As part of the plan, earlier this week, a book based on some of the key characters of the film – Sivagami, Kattappa, Bijjaladeva, was unveiled and it turned out to be a big hit with the book lovers. Written by Anand Neelakantan, the book ‘The Rise Of Sivagami’ narrates the story of how Sivagami came to the kingdom of Mahishmathi and how her friendship with Kattappa evolved over the years. The events in the story are set at least 30 years before the story of Baahubali – The Beginning.

Soon after the book was released, on Amazon, it ranked number one in several categories including Action & Adventure, Indian Writing, and Legends, Sagas and Myths. On the whole, the book was ranked at number 7 spot among all the new releases this week.

 

SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali 2 is going to be released in IMAX format as well, in select screens across the country, and few parts of the world. Producer Shobu Yarlgadda confirmed the news saying, “Excited that @BaahubaliMovie 2 will release in @IMax format as well! It will enhance the scale and immersive experience of our movie!”



It’s worth noting that Baahubali 2 hasn’t been shot using IMAX cameras; however, given its scale, the makers felt that it would do justice to the large-screen viewing experience that IMAX offers. Although there are very few IMAX screens at the moment in India, there’s no doubt that it’ll be an unbelievable experience in IMAX screens.

Cinematographer Senthil Kumar too expressed his joy that the film will be releasing in IMAX format and said, “So exciting….. Would love to see my Work on the largest release format @IMax., It would be an amazing & immersive Experience #Baahubali2.” The film is slated for release on April 28.

 

By now, everyone knows that talented editor Vamsi Atluri is the man behind the stunning trailer of Baahubali 2. The young technician is getting rave reviews for the way he has edited the trailer which has crossed 65 million views already.



Speaking about the work that went into editing the trailer, Venky says that his team worked for over two months to get the final version of the trailer. Close to 25 versions were readied by the team which spent relentless hours on the promo.

Rajamouli himself paid credit to his son Karthikeya and Vamsi Atluri who were mainly behind this feat. Slated to release on the 28th of April, Baahubali 2 is the most anticipated film in the country right now.

 

Young Rebel Star Prabhas underwent a stylish makeover for his 19th movie, which will be directed by Sujeeth. The macho hunk will commence shooting for this much-awaited project from the last week of March.



Now, the ongoing buzz has it that the teaser of Prabhas19 will be attached to the prints of his soon to be released magnum opus, Baahubali The Conclusion. The makers will can enough portions in the 15-day first schedule and use the footage to cut the teaser. An official announcement is awaited in this regard.

This as-yet-untitled action thriller will be made in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi with a whopping budget of nearly 150 crores. UV Creations banner is bankrolling the film.

 

The epic Telugu trailer of SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali The Conclusion has garnered more than 21.8 million views within the first 24 hours on its official YouTube channel and stood 7th among the world’s most viewed videos on YouTube.



This spectacular trailer is next only to The Ultimate 2016 Challenge, PSY’s GENTLEMAN, Star Wars: The Force Awakens teaser 2, Adele’s Hello, Now Watch Me 2015 and Captain America: Civil War trailer 2.

Meanwhile, Baahubali’s trailers have raked in close to 60 million views in all the four languages, becoming India’s most viewed movie trailers. This epic war drama is releasing on April 28th.

 

'Baahubali 2' will see a historic run at BO: Karan Johar



Filmmaker Karan Johar says “Baahubali 2: The Conclusion” will see a historic race at the box office. Karan’s Dharma Productions obtained the distribution rights of the Hindi version of the S S Rajamouli-directed fantasy drama.



The filmmaker told Deccan Chronicle, “When I introduced the film, we can proudly say that the most awaited film of the year is not made in Hindi. It’s a masterpiece. It is a pan-Indian film and the credit goes to Rajamouli. The film is heading for a historic run at the box office.”



‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ is slated to release on 28th April and stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati and Anushka Shetty.

 

As the audience is eagerly waiting to watch the much awaited magnum opus of the year, 'Baahubali: The Conclusion', director S.S. Rajamouli said though the story ends with the second part of the film, the world of Baahubali will be continued in various mediums like comics, novel, virtual reality films etc.

The director who was present at the trailer launch of the film, along with Karan Johar, Prabhas, Rana Daggubati among others, told the media: "We are going to continue the world of 'Baahubaali' in different mediums like comics, novel, virtual reality films etc. so that the fans can enjoy stories."

Though this is the second instalment of the film, its not a sequel of the earlier one but just the continuation to conclude the story.

"We just split the story into two films because the story was big (length wise). It was not the idea to start a franchise. The story should have the power to drive us to create a market, it shouldn't be the other way round. If we will go for a sequel or create a franchise without a good story, it will not last longer."

Considering the fact that there were a huge number of trolls on social media regarding the question, "Why Katappa killed Baahubali", when asked if the director felt bad about that or was under pressure to deliver better in this upcoming film, Rajamouli replied: "I believe the number of trolls you are getting on your film is directly proportionate to the number of audience which got affected by your films. People are talking, waiting for the next one, it is all creating a buzz, it means it has created an impact on them. I took it sportingly."
