Actor Arjunan, who made his debut with Balaji Mohan’s Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi, has acted in a handful of films, including Bogan, Aadhalal Kadhal Seiveer, Idhu Namma Aalu, and so on. He was last seen in Jayam Ravi-starrer Tik Tik Tik.
Now, the grapevine in Kollywood is that his twin children will be seen in Sudha Kongara’s next project, Soorarai Pottru. The film has Suriya and Aparna Balamurali playing lead roles and GV Prakash composing music. Arjunan’s kids are Ilan and Iyal, and the duo will be making their debut with this project which is Suriya’s 38th film.
The actor was last seen in Selvaraghavan’s NGK, while Sudha Kongara’s last directorial project was Madhavan, Ritika Singh-starrer Irudhi Suttru which was both critically and commercially success. Soorarai Pottru is reportedly based on some of the events happened in the life of Air Deccan founder Captain GR Gopinath. The movie which has cinematography by Niketh Bommireddy marks the comeback of veteran Tollywood actor Mohan Babu to Tamil.
