Vijay Sethupathi’s next is based on a true incident
It was announced on Monday that Vijay Sethupathi’s next project, Ka Pae Ranasingam, will be helmed by debutant P Virumandi, and that it will have Aishwarya Rajesh essaying the female lead. The shooting of the movie, which has Ghibran composing music, kicked off on Monday at Ramanathapuram, where many crucial scenes will be shot.

Kotapadi J Rajesh, who bankrolls the film, says, “Dubai will be a major destination for us, and that will be where several remaining portions will be picturised. The movie is based on a true incident, but I can’t reveal much about it. Peter Hein is the stunt choreographer for the project, which will have three action episodes. Yogi Babu, Vela Ramamoorthy, Samuthirakani and Poo Ram among others play significant roles in it.”

According to him, Vijay Sethupathi plays the titular role and Aishwarya Rajesh will be seen essaying his wife’s role. He adds that the movie will release after Hero, another production venture of his, starring Sivakarthikeyan in lead role.
