Rana Daggubati is currently busy with the promotions of his upcoming film, Nene Raju Nene Mantri. The film, touted to be a political entertainer, is scheduled to hit the screens on August 11. During the media interactions, Rana Daggubati stated that he is least bothered about getting married and settle down. He was asked about his marriage plans and to this the Bhallaladeva of Baahubali said that he will marry after the marriage of his seniors, Prabhas and Nithiin. "I'm just 33-years-old. My seniors Prabhas and Nithiin are much older than me, so let them tie the knot first. After that I will think about my wedding. Even my parents are not pushing me for the marriage", Rana said. Rana will be seen as Jogendra, ruthless political character in Nene Raju Nene Mantri.
It’s not the end of the road for the Baahubali team. Director Rajamouli and his leading man Prabhas are already planning another film together. According to a source close to the development, “They (Rajamouli and Prabhas) are planning to come together again. In fact they started discussing their post-Baahubali collaboration even while shooting of Baahubali was still on. Some actors become inseparable from particular characters they play. For Prabhas, that role has to be Baahubali. Arguably India’s biggest blockbuster franchise, the Baahubali films have catapulted Prabhas from regional cinema fame to the national centre stage. And with that comes a huge female fan following — for Baahubali is the perfect man, and the actor who plays him so convincingly acquires the same aura. Therefore, reports of his impending marriage broke hearts around the country. It was reasonable to assume that Prabhas would turn his mind towards marriage now, because SS Rajamouli, the director of Baahubali , wanted his complete dedication and the two films took nearly five years to make. As the phenomenon of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion swept through the country, rumours of Prabhas’ romance with co-star Anushka Shetty, who plays princess Devasena in the film, gained ground. But for the legions of his female fans, here is some good news: Prabhas is not getting hitched anytime soon. “At present, my [female] fans don’t need to worry,” quips Prabhas. “I’m not doing any such thing (getting married) now. I’m not even thinking about it,” he says, laughing softly, and adds, “I feel lucky that so many people admire me.” Talking about Prabhas’ marriage, the one thing that comes to mind is the hilarious ‘Wanted: Bride for Baahubali’ matrimonial ad put up by Rana Daggubati, who plays the villainous king Bhallaladeva in Baahubali, early last year on his Twitter page. It was quite amusing the way the ad highlighted Prabhas’ skills and the kind of bride who will be suitable for him. Asked about it, Prabhas laughs it off. “Did [Rana] say I am getting married?” he says, laughing again.Prabhas is also being romantically linked with his co-actor Anushka Shetty. But the actor denies any such thing between them. He says that people spread such rumours when a male actor is cast opposite a particular female actor more than once. And Prabhas played the lead with Anushka in four films: Billa (2009), Mirchi (2013), and both the parts of Baahubali. “Such stories are common,” says Prabhas. “I was, in fact, expecting this. If you work with one [female] actor in more than two films, then people tend to start spreading such rumours. It’s normal for me now. Earlier, I used to feel bad and say, ‘How could they write this?’ But now, such stories don’t bother me. I am okay with them.” According to what Prabhas says, what’s really making his pulse race right now is not a girlfriend but a new film. With the roaring success of the Baahubali series, Prabhas has become the hottest thing in the film fraternity as SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus has, quite literally, made Prabhas an overnight sensation. That might just explain the hype that is around the Baahubali actors’ next mega project, Saaho, and perhaps this could also be attributed to the reason Shraddha Kapoor has chosen to be on board, even if that meant taking a MASSIVE pay cut! If sources are to be believed, Shraddha Kapoor had initially quoted a whopping amount of 7 crores to star in the film, which the makers did not really agree to shell out. But, she, without any fuss or hesitation chose to settle for a smaller pay cheque. Looks like someone has learned something from the past. But, is that really fair? We will let you decide. As of now, what we know about Saaho is that the movie will be shot extensively in places like Europe, Abu Dhabi, Hyderabadand Mumbai! So, get ready to have a fan moment when Baahubali comes to our city!
