Updates on the Ilayathalapathy starrer Theri seem to be coming from all directions. We earlier reported that Theri passed the scissors of the Censor board with a 'U' certificate. Reports now state that Vijay wouldn't be having any smoking /drinking scenes in Theri.

Leading actors are slowly ditching scenes where they would have to drink or smoke owing to the acknowledgement of the fact that they are seen as role models by their fans. Even Vijay, in his last few films was seen in a no-smoking / no-drinking avatar. Sources also say that the members at the Censor board were happy with Theri and have suggested some very minor cuts and mutes.

With all this buzz surrounding Theri, fans are awaiting this Ilayathalapathy treat that's all set to release on 14 April.
