നാഗവല്ലിയും നകുലനും സണ്ണിയും വീണ്ടും, പേടിക്കാന്‍ റെഡിയാണോ?




'മണിച്ചിത്രത്താഴ്’ ഇറങ്ങിയിട്ട് 22 വര്‍ഷങ്ങള്‍ തികയുകയാണ്. ആ സിനിമയെപ്പറ്റി നാം ഇതുവരെ സംസാരിച്ചുതീര്‍ന്നിട്ടില്ല. ഇപ്പോഴും ഓരോ തവണ മണിച്ചിത്രത്താഴ് ചാനലുകളില്‍ വരുമ്പോഴും ചാനല്‍ മാറ്റാതെ, ആ സിനിമ മുഴുവന്‍ കാണാന്‍ മലയാളി ശ്രമിക്കുന്നു. എന്തിന്, ആ ചിത്രത്തിന്‍റെ ജനനത്തേക്കുറിച്ച് സംവിധായകന്‍ ഫാസില്‍ ഇപ്പോള്‍ മനോരമ ആഴ്ചപ്പതിപ്പില്‍ എഴുതിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുകയാണ്. ഓരോ സിനിമാ ചര്‍ച്ചയിലും മണിച്ചിത്രത്താഴ് പരാമര്‍ശിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു. ആ സിനിമയുടെ ക്രാഫ്റ്റിനെക്കുറിച്ച് മാത്രമല്ല, ആ സിനിമ സ്വീകരിച്ച വിഷയത്തേക്കുറിച്ചും ചര്‍ച്ചകളും പഠനങ്ങളും തുടരുന്നു.

മാടമ്പള്ളി തെക്കിനിയില്‍ നിന്ന് രാത്രികാലങ്ങളില്‍ കേള്‍ക്കുന്ന ഒരു പാട്ട്. ആ പാട്ട് ചെയ്യാനാണ് ഫാസില്‍ സംഗീത സംവിധായകനായ എം ജി രാധാകൃഷ്ണനെയും ഗാനരചയിതാവായ ബിച്ചു തിരുമലയെയും ഏല്‍പ്പിച്ചത്. ആഹരിയായിരുന്നു രാഗം. ദിവസങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ശേഷം എം ജി രാധാകൃഷ്ണന്‍ ഒരു പാട്ട് പാടിക്കേള്‍പ്പിച്ചു. ബിച്ചു എഴുതിയ വരികള്‍.

“പഴംതമിഴ് പാട്ടിഴയും ശ്രുതിയില്‍
പഴയൊരു തം‌ബുരു തേങ്ങി
മണിച്ചിത്രത്താഴിനുള്ളില്‍ വെറുതേ
നിലവറ മൈന മയങ്ങി...” - ഈ പാട്ട് കേട്ടയുടന്‍ ഇത് മറ്റൊരു സന്ദര്‍ഭത്തില്‍ ഉപയോഗിക്കാന്‍ ഫാസില്‍ തീരുമാനിച്ചു. അങ്ങനെയൊരു സന്ദര്‍ഭം മുമ്പ് ആലോചിച്ചിരുന്നില്ല. ഈ പാട്ടില്‍ നിന്നാണ് ആ മുഹൂര്‍ത്തങ്ങള്‍ ഫാസിലിന്‍റെ മനസില്‍ തെളിഞ്ഞുവന്നത്. ബിച്ചു തിരുമല എഴുതിയ വരികളില്‍ നിന്ന് ഫാസിലിന് ചിത്രത്തിന്‍റെ ടൈറ്റിലും ലഭിച്ചു - മണിച്ചിത്രത്താഴ് !

മണിച്ചിത്രത്താഴ് സിനിമ ഇറങ്ങിയ 1993ല്‍ ടീസറും ട്രെയിലറുമൊന്നും ആരുടെയെങ്കിലും മനസില്‍ പോലും തോന്നിയിട്ടില്ലാത്ത ആശയമായിരുന്നു. ഇപ്പോള്‍, 22 വര്‍ഷത്തിന് ശേഷം മണിച്ചിത്രത്താഴിന് ഒരു ട്രെയിലര്‍ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു. ആ സിനിമ അനുഭവിപ്പിച്ച ഭീതിയും പ്രണയവും ദുരൂഹതയും സംഗീതവുമെല്ലാം ഈ ട്രെയിലറും അനുഭവിപ്പിക്കും. മനോഹരമായാണ് ട്രെയിലര്‍ എഡിറ്റ് ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നത്.
