The day has finally come as Balakrishna is all set to kick start his prestigious project Gautamiputra Satakarni. Latest reports suggest that the film will kick off today in the beautiful locations of Morocco.

A stunning fight sequence will kick start the proceedings and a huge unit has been employed for the same. Ram Lakshman will choreograph these war sequences which be made on a huge budget.

Several international artists and technicians have come together for this project. Devi Sri Prasad composes music for this film which is produced by both Balakrishna and Rajiv Reddy.

 

Well known actor Kabir Bedi is playing an important role in Nandamuri Balakrishna’s ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni. The renowned actor will be playing the negative role in the movie and his characterisation will be quite impressive.

Kabir Bedi will be given a larger than life image, regal costumes and a very rich empire in the movie. He is said to be playing the role of Nahapana, the king vanquished by Gautamiputra Satakarni. Shooting has commenced in Morocco and action sequences will be shot there for over three weeks.

Shooting will then shift to a specially erected set in the outskirts of Hyderabad. Krish Jagarlamudi is the director of this movie and Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music. The film is being produced by Rajeev Reddy and Sai Babu Jagarlamudi.

 

Nandamuri Balakrishna is currently in Morocco, where his 100th film in the direction of Krish Jagarlamudi is being shot. This movie is a historical epic and the story is based on the life of the great Satavahana King, ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’.

The film unit is beginning the shoot at 6am, to capture the beautiful light that is available in the Moroccan countryside at that time. Krish and his team are working with good spirits and Balakrishna is said to be co-operating fully and completely with the team.

The movie is being produced by First Frame Entertainments, with music coming from Devi Sri Prasad.

Apparently, the cast and crew are currently in Morocco, Africa and are canning crucial war scenes. Reports reveal that due to the scene requirements, the crew and cast are shooting at wee hours everyday in rough weather.

Krish is already known for making sure that his film’s are shot exactly to his imagination. A few Hollywood technicians are part of the crew as well.

 

Some exotic locations snaps have been going around on social media. These locations are being passed off as ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’s locations and fans have been getting excited about them. But the still are not from Morocco, where the team is currently shooting.

Rather, the images doing the rounds are from Jordan, where the team has no intention of even shooting. While the locations in Morocco will be very grand for sure, they are totally different from the images that are currently going around.

The shooting of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 100th film is going on at a good pace and the team is expected to return to India towards the end of the month.

 

Die-hard American fans of popular film star and Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna are in for a special treat on the 10th of June on the occasion of Balayya’s birthday. The NBK Fans USA association is organizing a Meet and Greet event with Balayya on June 10 at the India Community Centre at St. Milpitas, California.

As part of the event, Balayya fans will get to meet their favorite star in a grand buffet dinner. A musical night has also been arranged on the night and several noted playback singers and actress Hamsanandini will participate in the cultural events. Part of the proceedings will be donated to Basavatharakam Cancer Hospital.

 

After working rigorously for two weeks, the first schedule of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s prestigious 100th film Gautamiputra Satakarni, held in Morocco, has been wrapped up. Actor Balakarishna, National-award winning director Krish, producer Rajeev have managed to finish the schedule as per the plan.

The film happens to be the first Indian film to be shot in the exotic locales of Morocco. Action episodes between Balakrishna and Kabir Bedi, set against 1st AD, were shot with the help of Hollywood fighters under the aegis of action choreographers Ram-Lakshman. The movie was shot in Atlas Studios, Varu Georgia in the Morocco. 1000 people were shot in the action scenes while 200 horses and camels were also involved in the shoot.

Sharing the working experience, director Krish shares, “I’m glad that the film’s first schedule is completed as per our plan. Balakrishna garu worked 14 hours daily during the shoot and set as an example. The energy level with which he worked from the start to the end inspired us. Actors and technicians have supported us.”

Y Rajeev Reddy is producing the film under First Frame Entertainments banner and Bibo Sreenivas is presenting the movie.

A mammoth set of a war ship has been erected in the out skirts of Hyderabad. Already, the first schedule of the film has been wrapped up in Morocco and reports suggest that the scenes shot have come out exceptionally well.

Directed by Krish, Gautamiputra Satakarni has Balakrishna in the titular role and both Krish and Rajiv Reddy produce the film jointly.

 

As the hunt for Nandamuri Balakrishna’s heroine continues, the choice seems to have zeroed down to Shreya. The beautiful actress has reportedly been approached to play the lead role opposite Balakrishna and a formal announcement is likely soon.

Balakrishna and Shreya teamed up for ‘Chennakesava Reddy’ many years ago. Shreya has been in good form recently and she won praise for her performance in ‘Manam’ and ‘Oopiri’. The unit of ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’ will be starting the second schedule soon, in Hyderabad.

The film’s unit erected a set near Chilkur and battle scenes based on a ship will be shot here. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music and First Frame Entertainment banner is the production house behind the film.
