Nandamuri Balakrishna’s most eagerly awaited 100th film, Gautamiputra Satakarni, has already completed two crucial schedules in Morocco and Hyderabad. The unit has wrapped up major action sequences in both these schedules, featuring several local, Bollywood and international stars and extensive vfx shots.

The film’s third schedule will kick-start from the 20th of this month. The shooting will take place in a specially erected boat set near the Chilukur Balaji Temple on the outskirts of Hyderabad. According to our sources, nearly 200 foreign fighters will take part in a major action episode which will be shot under action choreographers Ram-Lakshman’s supervision.

Balayya, who is in the US to raise funds for Basavatharakam Cancer Research Centre, will return to Hyderabad tomorrow and he too will take part in the 3rd schedule. Krish is directing this high budget historical.

 

We have reported a while back that Balakrishna’s 100th flick, Gautamiputra Satakarni, under the direction of Krish Jagarlamudi is progressing at a brisk pace and that the film has recently finished a couple of schedules in Morocco and Hyderabad respectively.

According to the latest updates, the film’s next schedule has kickstarted earlier today at Chilkur near Hyderabad. Apparently, a few vital action scenes are currently underway. A large ship set has been erected especially for this schedule.

According to the latest reports, Mokshagna will be joining the film’s latest schedule that was kickstarted earlier today near Chilkur Balaji Temple on the outskirts of Hyderabad. Mokshagna will be working closely with Krish and will study the in-and-out of filmmaking techniques.

Director Krish is all set to go back to his favourite foreign location, Georgia. Nandamuri Balakrishna’s prestigious 100th film, ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’, is going to be shot there for a few weeks and Krish is planning to shoot a large part of the action sequences there.

This schedule has not been a part of the original plans. But Krish and his team have decided to go to Georgia as action sequences seem to come out quite well and in a cost effective manner in that country. Work is currently underway to get the unit ready for this schedule.

The unit will travel to the European country in July. First Frame Entertainments is producing this movie and Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music.

Director Krish is making the prestigious 100th film of Nandamuri Balakrishna and the movie has been titled ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’. The movie is one of the most eagerly awaited films in Tollywood and shooting is going on at a good pace. The team will be traveling to Georgia soon for the picturisation of some crucial scenes.

Krish is also getting busy on the personal front. The director got engaged to a Hyderabad doctor recently and the wedding date has been fixed in the month of August. Naturally, a wedding will require total undivided attention from Krish. But the director is planning well ahead to avoid any disruption in the work of Gautamiputra Satakarni.

He has delegated work to his team and has timed the shooting schedules in such a way that a small break will be there for Krish to quickly tie the knot and get back to work. The movie is going to hit the screens for Sankranthi.

 

The shooting of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 100th film Gautamiputra Satakarni is progressing swiftly. The historical movie is presented by Bibo Srinivas and is produced on First Frame Entertainment banner by Y Rajeev Reddy and Jagarlamudi Saibabu while National award winning Krish is the director.

Producers revealed that a new schedule will commence in Georgia from July 4th. A massive war sequence which comes during the climax of the film will be shot during this schedule.

These hefty battle episodes will be canned in scenic locations of Mount Kazbeg in Georgia which is very close to Russia border. 1000 soldiers, 300 horses and 20 chariots will be used in this mega climax.

Balakrishna is expected to travel Georgia in next two days. “We planned the schedules in perfect way. First schedule which was shot in Morocco comes during the interval. Second schedule was successfully wrapped in Hyderabad in an expensive navy vessel setting is a part of the movie opening. Third schedule which will be held in Georgia will complete the crucial climax and the magnificent CG work will be blended with these live scenes to intensify the effect,” said director Krish.

 

The makers of actor Balakrishna's 100th film, Gautamiputra Satakarni, are leaving no stone unturned when it comes to creating an epic watching experience for audiences when the film releases early next year. The makers are currently filming the climax battle sequences in Georgia.

Apparently, the team has hired over 1000 junior artists to play soldiers, 300 horses and 20 chariots for the climax war sequence which will be one of the major episodes of the film, which also stars Shriya Saran, Hema Malini Kabir Bedi in important roles. According to director Krish, the team is shooting the final war sequence in Georgia, and two were already shot in Morocco and Hyderabad.

Tipped to be the unsung story of Satavahana ruler, the film is being made on a lavish budget and it has music by Devi Sri Prasad.
