After teaming up with Krish for the national award winning Kanche for his Tollywood debut, Bollywood music composer Chirantan Bhatt has bagged Nandamuri Balakrishna’s prestigious 100th film, Gautamiputra Satakarni.

Speaking to the media recently, Chirantan said that scoring for Balayya’s 100th movie is highly challenging and exciting at the same time. He said that NBK100, being a period drama, leaves less scope for experimentation and that he needs to bring in the novelty factor by using very few instruments.

Chirantan further added that Krish knows what he wants and that his job becomes easier as Krish has a deep knowledge in music.

 

It is a known fact that legendary actress, Hema Malini was roped in to play an important role in Krish’s upcoming film Gautamiputra Satakarni. Latest update reveals that she has joined the shoot earlier today.

Some key scenes are being shot in Madhya Pradesh and Hema Malini along with the film’s lead Shreya Saran started filming for their respective roles. Being a prestigious film, the makers are leaving no stone unturned in taking the film to the next level.

Chittaranjan Bhatt is composing music for this film which has Balakrishna in a central role.

Gautamiputra Satakarni is the story of the unsung warrior king of Amaravati. The movie has Shriya as the heroine and Hema Malini is going to be seen as the mother of Balakrishna. Chirantan Bhatt is composing the music and Gnanasekhar is the DOP.

According to the latest reports being heard in the film industry, the distribution rights for Ceded area for Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 100 the film, ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’, have been acquired for a fancy prince of around 9 crores by star producer Sai Korrapati.

Balakrishna is generally quite strong in the Ceded area and Sai Korrapati is a self proclaimed fan. These factors, coupled with the generally positive hype for the movie, seem to have contributed to this price.

The news is still unconfirmed for now. Krish Jagarlamudi is the director of this big budget entertainer.
