    അങ്കമാലിയുടെ അടിത്തട്ടിൽനിന്ന് ജീവിതം ആണും പെണ്ണും തീനും കുടിയും കൊട്ടും പാട്ടും അറവും അലമ്പും അടിപിടിയും ചീട്ടുകളിയും പോർക്കും പോലീസും കൂട്ടും കൊലവിളിയും
    പകയും പ്രണയവും
    പള്ളിയും പെരുന്നാളും
    വാറ്റും വെടിക്കെട്ടും ഒക്കെയായി വെള്ളിത്തിരയിലേക്ക് ഇരമ്പിക്കയറിയതു മാത്രമേ ഓർമ്മയുള്ളു. പിറ്റേന്നുണർന്നപ്പോൾ മേലാകെ വേദന. കത്തിപ്പാടിൽ ഇറച്ചിക്കറിയുടെ ചാറു തെറിച്ച പോലെ ഒരു നീറ്റം. പടം കണ്ടതാണോ പണി കിട്ടിയതാണോ എന്ന് തിരിച്ചറിയാൻ വയ്യാത്ത അവസ്ഥ. എന്തായാലും ലിജൊ കലക്കി. വാറ്റിനുമാത്രമല്ല വാസ്തവത്തിനും ലഹരിയുണ്ടെന്ന് ഈ സിനിമ തെളിയിക്കുന്നു.
