The wave has been quite for Surya’s movie ‘Kappan’ after the first look poster was released. On the 1st of January Lyca productions have announced that Kaapan will soon start to roll. The first look poster has Surya, Mohanlal and Aarya. Which symbolises that these three actors will be play prominent role in the movie. Earlier it was Allu Sirish who was supposed to play the role of Surya as his dates weren’t flexible he backed out of the project. Surya has now taken over it and it is said that he will be playing the bodyguard of prime minister; Mohanlal will play the Prime minister. Not sure on Aarya’s character yet. The movie will be directed by KV.Anand

Though this movie was announced earlier, Surya’s NGK will take the run ahead. Only after NGK the shoot for Kaapan is said to start. They are planning to release the teaser of NGK for this Valentine ’s Day i.e., 14th February 2019. And his next movie ‘Kappan’ is said to be slated for release on Ayudha pooja weekend this year. We can expect the teaser of Kappan for Surya’s birthday which is on 23rd July. Official announcement about the same is awaited.

dont know the authenticity. just shared. what i heard from some suriya fans is that suriya is protecting Arya who inturn is mohanlals' son.
