    അച്ചന്റെ സുഹൃത്തിന്റെ കൂടെ ഒരു പെണ്കുട്ടി ഊട്ടിയിൽ നിന്നും കോഴിക്കോട്ടേക്ക് യാത്ര ചെയ്യുന്നതിനിടയിൽ രണ്ടു ദിവസങ്ങളായി നടക്കുന്ന കാര്യങ്ങളാണ് അങ്കിൾ എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ പ്രമേയം . ഒരു നെഗട്ടീവ് ഷെയ്ഡുള്ള കഥാപാത്രമായാണ് ചിത്രത്തിൽ മമ്മൂക്ക എത്തുന്നത് . എന്നാൽ ആ കഥാപാത്രത്തിന് ഏത് രീതിയിലുള്ള മാർക്ക് നൽകണമെന്ന് തീരുമാനിക്കേണ്ടത് സിനിമ കഴിഞ്ഞിറങ്ങുന്ന പ്രേക്ഷകരാണ് . എന്ത് പ്രത്യേകതയുമായാണ് എന്റെ ആദ്യ ചിത്രം എത്തുന്നതെന്നു ചോദിച്ചാൽ മലയാളത്തിൽ ഇത് വരെ ആരും ചൂണ്ടിക്കാണിക്കാത്ത പ്രമേയം എന്നൊന്നും പറയാൻ ഞാൻ ആളല്ലെങ്കിലും വ്യത്യസ്തമായ ഒരു എൻഡിങ് ഈ സിനിമക്ക് നൽകാൻ ഞാനും ജോയ് മാത്യു സാറും കൂടി ശ്രമിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട് . അത് എത്രത്തോളം വിജയം കണ്ടു എന്നു പ്രേക്ഷകർ തീരുമാനിക്കട്ടെ. - ഗിരീഷ് ദാമോദർ
