S3 AP/Nizam rights sold!

Even before the audio launch, Andhra Pradesh/Nizam rights of Suriya’s S3 have been sold.

According to our sources, Malkapuram Shivakumar has bought the film for a record 18cr, which is the highest ever price for a Suriya film in AP/Nizam.

S3 is the third part of Suriya’s successful Singam franchise and Hari is helming the project. “ Singam 3 will be bigger than the first two parts in terms of story and grandeur. Generally Hari complete his films in record speed but he’s taking his own time for the betterment of the film”, said a source close to the unit.

In S3, Anushka Shetty will be seen as Suriya’s wife while Shruti Haasan is said to be playing a journalist.

The Suriya, Anushka and Shruti Haasan-starrer mass action entertainer, S3, will wrap up the crucial ongoing Vizag schedule on the 15th of this month. With this, the film’s talkie part is nearing its completion.

Very soon, the S3 unit will leave for Chennai to can yet another crucial schedule followed by the last and final schedule in Malaysia, where the entire shooting will be wrapped up. S3 is being directed by Hari and it is produced by Suriya’s 2D Entertainment, with the musical score by Harris Jayaraj.
