The first look poster of ‘Maari 2’ is just out on Internet. Dhanush tweeted stating ‘The naughtiest Don is back #Maari2firstlook #Marri2 #tharalocal#senjiruven’. The first look poster has only Dhanush in it, where he is throwing a lit cracker using his hands. Dhanush looks very similar to Maari with the same smirk on his face,the iconic swirled moustache and round goggles .

The movie will be by Balaji mohan who directed Maari, there is no much change in the cast of the movie. Sai pallavi of premam movie will play love interest of Dhanush. The movie will continue to have Kallori Vinoth and Robo Shankar in the cast. It is also said the cast will include Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in an important role. The movie is said to be slated to release in the month of December. It could be on 12th or 21st of December. December 12th is Superstar’s birthday so there are possibility the movie could be released on that day, Otherwise it will be a Christmas weekend release, Dhanush is still releasing the success of Vada Chennai, hope he will be able to continue the magic with Maari 2
