The Vozz RS 1.0 is a helmet sans the chinstrap, claims higher safety levels The Vozz RS 1.0 is what one could call a revolution in the field of helmet design. What makes this Australian manufactured helmet stand out from the other helmets is that the RS 1.0 features a hinged rear entry that abolishes the need for the conventional chin strap. The RS 1.0 offers a better fit, courtesy the internal shape that is closer to the shape of the owner’s head. This feature helps create a smaller entry hole than the conventional helmetwhich makes it a closer fit around the chin and neck. An inner shell that tracks the shape of the head gives a safer fit and offers additional protection. The lower end at the front of the helmet is a chin shell that has adaptable internal padding which sticks out under the rider’s chin. The clamshell design and adjustable chin cup assist medics to remove the helmet safely due to the lift effect of the helmet. The double chin lock design doesn’t offer the convenience of removing the helmet with one hand and seems to be the only drawback to the helmet. The Vozz RS 1.0 has been certified by DOT and ECE and will be available in three sizes and seven colour options. Their online shop will be launched on 23rd December while the price for these helmets, according to reports, start at $888 or RM 3800 (approximately Rs. 60,000).
