    For me assisting a goal is also a false criterion in analyzing individual performance. A player A wins the ball in his half and runs past a few opposition player and pass it to B. B then flicks it to C and he scores.
    C scores, and B assists. For me it is ridiculous.

    Assist has become so obsessive even my son(2nd std) was mocking me on CR7s assist for Mandzukic.
