    After roping in Prithviraj and Priya Anand as the protagonists, director Jaykrishnan has now cast Sujith Shankar and Pratap Pothen in crucial roles for his upcoming horror-thriller Ezra.

    Sujith was recently noticed for his strong performance in Fahadh Faasil-starrer Maheshinte Prathikaaram, in which he played a character with grey shades. On casting him in Ezra, its director tells us, "He's a brilliant actor, who graduated from the National School of Drama. I needed someone of his calibre because it's one of the principal characters in the movie." Pratap Pothen will also be part of the film, which will be shot in Mumbai and Kochi. "He will play a cameo," informs Jaykrishnan. Pratap Pothen and Prithviraj had earlier shared screen space in Lal Jose's Ayaalum Njanum Thammil in which Pratap Pothen played the mentor figure to Prithvi's character.
    Ezra will be Prithviraj's next project and will go on floors by May. "We will start shooting once Prithviraj is done filming for Jeethu Joseph's Oozham," says the filmmaker, adding that he can't "reveal much about the story or the characters because it's that sort of a genre".
