Q1. Working with Prithviraj for the first time... what was the experience ??

Q1: From the trailer and teaser, the movie seems filled with intellectual dialogues (which are extremely sharp) and many scenes(if not all) shot in North India. Did you or do you have any minute doubts regarding the acceptance of the same among common malayali audience?
Q2: Can you compare directing Prithviraj and Indrajith? How different are they as actors?
Q3: What was the most challenging thing you had to face during the shooting ??

1)Can you say something about the significance of the movie's title with regard to it's story?
2)Usually trailers give away a little bit of a movie's plot(sometimes too much).But Tiyaan's trailer is refreshingly vague in that aspect.Is that a deliberate choice?
3)Do you see a future for genres like Horror and Sci Fi in Malayalam movie industry?

 

1. ഒരേ തലത്തിലാണ് മലയാള സിനിമയിലെ സ്ത്രീ കഥാപാത്രങ്ങൾ ഏറെയും. മുരളി ഗോപി എന്ന എഴുത്തുകാരൻ നേരെ തിരിച്ചും. ഉൾക്കാമ്പുള്ള സ്ത്രീ കഥാപാത്രങ്ങൾ സൃഷ്ട്ടിക്കാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടുള്ളയാളാണ് മുരളി ഗോപി. ടിയാനെ മുൻ നിർത്തി ഇതിനെകുറിച്ച് പറയാമോ ?

2. താങ്കളുടെ ആദ്യ രണ്ട് ചിത്രങ്ങൾ വേണ്ടത്ര ശ്രദ്ധിക്കപ്പെട്ടവയല്ല. പക്ഷെ മൂന്നാമത്തെ ചിത്രത്തിലേക്കെത്തുമ്പോൾ വലിയ താരനിര, മികച്ച തിരക്കഥാകൃത്, വലിയ ബജറ്റ്, എത്രത്തോളം ശ്രമകരമായിരുന്നു ടിയാനിലേക്കുള്ള വഴി ?

3. മാറ്റത്തിന്റെ പാതയിലാണ് ഇന്ന് മലയാള സിനിമ. അതെ പാത പിന്തുടർന്നാണോ ടിയാന്റെ സഞ്ചാരം ?

4. രാജീവ് അഞ്ചലിന്റെ ഗുരു എന്ന സിനിമയുമായി ടിയാന് ഏതെങ്കിലും തരത്തിലുള്ള സാമ്യം ?

5. എന്ത് കൊണ്ട് ടിയാൻ കാണണം? ഒരു സിനിമ പ്രേമിയോടുള്ള നിങ്ങളുടെ മറുപടി ?

 

ഈ സിനിമയ്ക്ക് ഒരു വലിയ വിജയം കിട്ടട്ടെ എന്നാശംസിക്കുന്നു.ഇതൊരു വലിയ വിജയമായൽ തീർച്ചയായും മറ്റു ഭാഷകളിലേക്ക് ഈ ചിത്രം മൊഴിമാറ്റി റീലീസ് ചെയ്യണം.ഒരിക്കലും റീമേക്ക് റൈറ്റ്സ് കൊടുക്കരുത്.ദയവായി മൊഴി മാറ്റി തന്നെ റീലീസ് ചെയ്യുക.മലയാളത്തെ സിനിമ വ്യവസായത്തിന് ഇതു മുതൽ കൂട്ടാകും. നമ്മുടെ സമൂഹത്തെ കടിച്ചു കീറുന്ന വർഗീയതയാണ് തീമെന്നാണ് ട്രയ്ലർ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ മനസിലാകുന്നത്.ഇതേ തീമുമായി ജെസ്സിയുടെ പുറപ്പാട് രാജീവ് അഞ്ചലിന്റെ ഗുരു മണിരത്‌നത്തിന്റെ ബോംബേ തുടങ്ങിയ ചിത്രങ്ങൾ ഇതിനു മുൻപും എത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.ഇവയിൽ നിന്നെല്ലാം ടിയാൻ എങ്ങനെ ആണ് വ്യത്യസ്തമാവുന്നത് ?
