All you Hrithik Roshan fans, it’s time to rejoice! The actor has finally given a nod to his next film after Kaabil – a Kabir Khan venture. Yes! Although an official confirmation on the same is yet to be made but we hear this untitled film is in collaboration with Sajid Nadiadwala and is going to be way high on romance-action and drama; the genre that Kabir is known for. Now it’s left to see who will be casted opposite Hrithik in this film. In fact, this news also makes it clear that Hrithik has not taken up Karan Malhotra’s next opposite Sara Ali Khan, unlike speculations. Bigger in scale

This is the film Kabir will take up post Salman Khan-starrer Tubelight. “It will be a high-octane action-romance-drama and could well be one of the most expensive films made in Bollywood so far. Much of the film will be shot overseas, and will be bigger in scale and vision than Kabir’s other films. The film rolls this September, but the leading lady is yet to be finalised.

Sajid-Hrithik’s history

Incidentally, Sajid signed Hrithik for one of his productions seven years ago, helmed by Imtiaz Ali. “That film, however, never got made. However, Hrithik has said yes to the new project and loves its script and scale,” adds our source.

Prep for pre-production on

Currently busy in post-production of Tubelight (out on Eid this year), Kabir is already prepping for pre-production of the Hrithik film. “Kabir and Hrithik have been in touch over the last couple of months and both are excited to be working together for the first time. Once he completes Kabir’s film, Hrithik will be ready to shoot for his father Rakesh Roshan’s film Krrish 4,” concludes the source.

As for the rest of the details of the film, there have been no information on the same and the leading lady who will play Hrithik’s love interest is yet to be finalized. Kabir Khan, who is all set to direct Hrithik Roshan in his upcoming film, says though he has not locked the script, he would like to show Hrithik in a "never seen before" style.

"It is only in principle now. We have not locked the script. We are talking about a film which Sajid Nadiadwala will produce, I will direct and Hrithik will act in it. I have given myself a month to explore and think of ideas," Kabir told IANS on the sidelines of Film Bazaar.

Kabir, who often makes films around terrorism or India-Pakistan ties as a backdrop, is "assuming" he would present the Bang Bang! star in a new way. (Also Read: We Don't Make Films For Numbers, Says Kabir Khan)

"There are certain aspects of Hrithik that really excites me and I would like to explore the aspects that have not been done before for the project," he added.

The film's makers are yet to zero in on other details including the lead actress.

Meanwhile, Hrithik is tied up with shooting for his upcoming venture Mohenjo Daro and Kabir is enjoying his break by vacationing and looking for ideas.
