    Kamuki is an upcoming Malayalam romantic movie directed by Binu S. The movie is written by the director himself and it features Askar Ali and Aparna Balamurali are in the lead roles. The film is based on a campus story which also goes through the friendship and romance. Director Binu Sadanandan and Unmesh Unnikrishnan are jointly produced the movie under the banner of Ithihasa Movies.

    Director Binu Sadanandan entered into industry as a director through the movie Ithihasa, which was released in 2014. His second venture was Style (2016). Now he returned back with his latest directorial venture and he had penned the script for his new project. He had chosen not any star valued actors for playing the lead character, but opt for a new one – Askar Ali. The film will be a youth centric romantic comedy entertainer.

    Askar Ali plays the lead character as Hari, a visually challenged college student. The film goes through the life of Hari– his problems, romance etc. Aparna Balamurali would play the lead female character who is the love interest of Hari. It is for the first time that they pairing for a movie. Askar joined to this venture after Honey Bee 2.5. It became huge success in box office and the performance of Askar got many appreciation from the audience.

    Aparna Balamurali handles the character of a college student named Achamma, who is a carefree, aimless character. Aparna appeared in the big screen through the film Oru Second Class Yaathra but she become popular by the character Jimsy opposite to Fahadh Faasil in Maheshinte Prathikaram. It is for the first time that Askar and Aparna pairing for a movie and the expectations are on sky high for this new upcoming film.

    Sooraj S Kurup composes the music for the films, both the movie tracks and scores are done by him. Aagosh Vaishnavam is the man who behind the camera and editing is done by Sudhi Madison. The main shooting location is at Kalady Sree Sankara College and Kochi.
