തട്ടുംപുറത്ത് അല്ല തട്ടിക്കൂട്ട് അച്യുതൻ എന്നാ വിളിക്കേണ്ടത്. ലാൽ ജോസ് എന്ന സംവിധായകൻ ഇത്രത്തോളം അധഃപതിച്ചോ എന്ന് തോന്നിപ്പോകുന്നു. സിന്ധുരാജിന്റെ ഏറ്റവും ബോറൻ സ്ക്രിപ്റ്റ് ഇത് തന്നെയാണ്. കുഞ്ചാക്കോ ബോബൻ എന്ന നടൻ സൗഹൃദത്തിന്റെ പേരിൽ സിനിമകൾ ചെയ്യുന്നത് നിർത്തിയില്ല എങ്കിൽ .....

ലാൽ ജോസ് ചിത്രങ്ങളിലെ ആകെ ആശ്വാസമായ നല്ല വിഷ്വൽസ് മാത്രം അല്പം ബാക്കിയുണ്ട്. 80കളിൽ പോലും ആവറേജ് വിജയത്തിന് മുകളിൽ സാധ്യത ഇല്ലാത്ത തിരക്കഥ എടുക്കാൻ ലാൽ ജോസ് എന്ന സംവിധായകൻ തീരുമാനിച്ചതിന് പിന്നിൽ എന്ത് X ഫാക്ടർ ആണിതിൽ ഉള്ളതെന്ന് എത്ര ആലോചിച്ചിട്ടും മനസിലാകുന്നില്ല, അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഏറ്റവും മോശമെന്നു മറ്റുള്ളവർ പറയുന്ന വെളിപാടിന്റെ പുസ്തകത്തിൽ പോലും ഒരു unique element ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു എന്ന് തോന്നിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.

നെഞ്ചിനുള്ളിൽ എന്ന പാട്ട് ഒഴികെ ബാക്കി ഒക്കെ നല്ല ബോർ ഐറ്റംസ് ആണ്, അതും ആവശ്യമില്ലാതെ കുത്തിനിറച്ച പോലെ, നെഞ്ചിനുള്ളിൽ പാട്ടും വെറുതെ കുത്തിതിരുകിയത് തന്നെ എങ്കിലും ആ വിഷ്വൽസ് എവിടെയൊക്കെയോ ആ പഴയ ലാൽ ജോസ് ഉറക്കാമെണീറ്റത് കാട്ടിത്തരും. ആക്ഷൻ സീനിൽ ഭക്തിഗാനം ജാസ് ഇട്ട് ബി ജി എം ചെയ്തത് ദീപാങ്കുരൻ ഭാവി കൾട്ട് ലെവലിലേക്ക് ഉള്ള ചുവടുവയ്പ്പാണ്

ഒരു പുതുമയും ഇല്ല എന്നതാണ് ഇതിന്റെ സ്‌ക്രിപ്റ്റിൽ ഉള്ള ഏറ്റവും വലിയ പുതുമ. പുള്ളിപ്പുലിയും ആട്ടിൻകുട്ടിയും ഒക്കെ കയ്യബദ്ധമായിരുന്നു എന്ന് തോന്നുന്നു.

നടീനടന്മാരെ പറ്റി കൂടുതൽ പ്രസംഗിച്ച് ഒരധികപ്രസംഗി ആകാൻ ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നില്ല, ആർക്കും ഒരു പുതുമയുള്ള റോളും ഇല്ല. ബിജു സോപാനത്തെ ഒക്കെ 2 ഡയലോഗിന് കൊണ്ട് വന്ന് ആ നടനെ അപമാനിച്ചു. താരകല്യാണിന് ഡാൻസ് ചെയ്യാൻ വന്നപ്പോ 2 ഡയലോഗ് കൊടുത്ത പോലെ. നായിക നായകൻ ടിവി ഷോയിൽ ഉള്ള കുറെ പേർ കുത്തിനിറയ്ക്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്.
പുതിയ നായിക ശ്രവണ സ്‌കൂൾ നാടക രംഗത്തിന് ഒരു വാഗ്ദാനമാണ്.

മൊത്തത്തിൽ ഈ ക്രിസ്മസ് സീസണിലെ ഏറ്റവും മോശം ചിത്രം, ലാൽ ജോസിന്റെ ഏറ്റവും മോശം ചിത്രവും

A clean family entertainer from Lal Jose and team . DOP of this movie stands out ! Splendid visuals- recent best! On the downside, songs which are always the strongpoint of LJ Movies was quite disappointing. Also second hf should have trimmed !

Synopsis: Achyuthan, a Krishna devotee, often bumps into the secrets of people in his village as he accidently gets stuck in the attics of the different houses in the nights. He who believes in Krishna’s principle of karma, brings in happiness to the villagers’ lives.

Story: It has been often said that when someone sincerely worships a God, he or she will be blessed with that God’s characteristics.

Achyuthan (Kunchacko Boban) who shares his name with Lord Krishna is a hardcore devotee, ambalavasi and everybody’s sweetheart. His Good Samaritan nature sometimes lands him in trouble. As it happened when his close friend Madhu asked his servant to steal money from his house to start a business. His friend escapes but Achyuthan gets caught. He is disheartened and even angry with his favourite deity – Krishna. But people in his village are always in support of Achyuthan and he slowly returns to his normal life despite losing his job and his marriage prospects getting quashed.

He loses interest in temple visits too. That’s when the poojari takes him inside asking him to leave behind all the anger and complaints. While counting the hundi collections, Achythan stumbles on a letter to the Lord dropped by someone named Girija. “It was you who read it and Bhagavan might have assigned you to solve her problem,” says the poojari and Achyuthan takes it seriously. He goes ahead with his task in the true Krishna manner, trying to bring happiness and peace to the village. He is guided also by Kunjoottan (Adish Praveen) a little friend whose dreams often comes true.

If director Lal Jose’s previous outing Velipadinte Pusthakam, did not create ripples, Thattinpurath Achyuthan is bound to make up for it. The maker of enduring films like Meesha Madhavan, Classmates and Chanthu Pottu is back with a bang. This is an engaging, feel-good tale with vibrant visuals and characters that is typical of him. He once again combines well with scribe M Sindhuraj and actor Kunchacko Boban, who made movies such as Pullipulikalum Aatinkuttiyum and Elsamma Enna Aankutty. The choreography of the songs in this film too is as adorable as In his other films which adds to the viewing pleasure.

Deepankuran Kaithapram's compositions and Roby Varghese Raj's cinematography need special mention as also the acting of Hareesh Kanaran, Kalabhavan Shajon and Nedumudi Venu.

Seems like, Kunchacko, the ageless hero of Mollywood, is here to stay forever. He looks as fresh as in his debut Aniyathipravu. If Ranjith’s Nandanam saw Krishna bestowing happiness in Balamani’s life, here we see Achyuthan turning into Lord Krishna for many people.

In this festival season, Lal Jose, Sindhuraj and Kunchacko Boban are here with a gift hamper filled with love, innocence, music, hope and humanity.
