Mohanlal to join the sets of Ranjith film after 'Odiyan' Thursday 26 April 2018 05:45 AM IST Superstar Mohanlal’s fans are eagerly waiting for the release of his two new movies which the actor has been shooting simultaneously. The filming of Neerali directed by debutant Ajoy Varma is wrapped up and the makers plan to release it by July. Meanwhile, the shooting of Mohanlal’s big budget movie Odiyan helmed by Shrikumar Menon was packed up on Tuesday and will hit the theaters as an Onam release. In the meantime, reports are out that the screen icon will next star in ace director Ranjith’s Bilathi Katha. Mohanlal will reportedly fly to England for the filming of the movie during the second week of May. Through Bilathi Katha superstar Mohanlal will be reuniting with Ranjith after Loham . Bilathi Katha is financed by Subair NP and NK Nasser for the banners of Lilipad Motion Pictures and Varnachitra Goodline Productions. Veteran actor Maniyanpillai Raju’s son Niranjan who was last seen in the Malayalam flick Bobby will also essay a significant role in Bilathi Katha. Anu Sithara, Jewel Mary and Kaniha play the female leads in the movie. Popular film makers Johny Antony and Syama Prasad too play pivotal roles in the movie along with Dileesh Pothen, Kalabhavan Shajon and Shalin Soya. Award winning lyricist Harinarayan pens the lines for the songs composed by Vinu Thomas. Noted cinematographer Prasanth Raveendran who cranked the camera for the super hit movie Rakshadhikari Baiju Oppu will wield the camera for Bilathi Katha. He has allotted 45 days for the filming of Bilathi Katha. Now that the shooting of Odiyan has been wrapped up, the actor will join the rehearsal camp of the AMMA mega stage show ‘Amma Mazhavillu’ to be held at the Greenfield International Stadium in Kazhakoottam, Thiruvananthapuram on May 6. Mohanlal will join the crew of Bilathi Katha in London after the AMMA mega stage show. Meanwhile, the actor will also take a five-day break from the sets of Bilathi Katha to fly to Australia to take part in another stage show.
