Njandukalude Nattil Oridavela Altaf can teach some of the age old directors a lesson or two in clean and neat film making. Nivin Pauly is not a hero in this movie. Infact, there are no heroes in this movie. Just a family and that's it. Very few young actors ( in any industry) will be ready to do a movie in which he is just part of a group, and Nivin has infact come out and produced it. Kudos Paulychaya!!! Shanthi Krishna. What a great decision by the makers to cast her for this role. An artist dubbing for their own really makes a huge difference. She has given the performance of a lifetime. Such a realistic and endearing performance. Please stay back in malayalam cinema, Ma'am!!! The movie deals with a sensitive subject and yet it never overkills the drama. Yes, in some places the debutant director shows lack of experience but the movie overall is so good that the audien can forgive those minor issues. The whole love angle with the heroine seemed a bit forced and out of place but it doesnt harm the movie much. See...it is not that hard to make a small clean family movie with no double meaning dialogues and a strong lady lead. I am adding this to Take off, Angamaly Diaries, Thondimuthalum and Rakshadhikari Baiju opppu for this year's best movies list.
ഞണ്ടുകൾ കാണാൻ വളരെ ആകാംക്ഷയോടെ കാത്തിരുന്ന ചിത്രം. കാരണം മറ്റാർക്കും ലഭിക്കാനടിയില്ലാത്ത ഒരു കൗതുകം ഉണ്ട് ആക്സിഡെന്റിനു തലേ ദിവസം, അതായത് സെപ്റ്റംബർ 3 നു സിനിമ കണ്ടിരുന്നു പക്ഷേ അത് ഓർമകളിൽ നിന്ന് ഡിലീറ്റ് ആയി പോയി. സിനിമയെ കുറിച്ചു എന്റ സുഹൃത്തിനു ഞാൻ മെസ്സേജ് അയച്ചിരുന്നു (അവൻ ആണ് ഇങ്ങനെ ഒരു സിനിമ കണ്ട കാര്യം പറഞ്ഞതും, എന്റെ അഭിപ്രായം സ്ക്രീൻ ഷോട്ട് അയച്ചു തന്നതും) അങ്ങനെ ഇന്നലെ സിനിമ കണ്ടു ചില സീനുകൾ കണ്ട് മറന്ന ഓര്മ പോലെ. എന്നാലും മൊത്തം ആദ്യമായി കാണുന്ന അനുഭവം തന്നെ. അഭിപ്രായവും അന്ന് പറഞ്ഞത് തന്നെ (അത്രയ്ക്ക് ചിരി വന്നില്ല എന്നാലും, ആസ്വാദന തലം മാറിയിട്ടില്ലല്ലോ ആശ്വാസം ) * അന്ന് സിനിമയെ കുറിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞ കാര്യം
