We all know that fast raising star Sivakarhtikeyan is presently acting in 'Remo' a romantic comedy directed by Bhagyaraj Kannan and produced by RD Raja under the 24AM Studios banner.

The shooting of this film, which has P. C. Sreeram, Resul Pookutty', Sean Foot, Anirudh and many other big names in its technical crew has been progressing well.

Now an official announcement from the producer confirms that 'Remo' will hit the screens before this year's monsoon season.

Another surprising announcement is that the same production house will bankroll Sivakarthikeyan's next film to be directed by Mohan Raja. The Siva-Raja film has been officially launched with a formal pooja this morning and the shooting will begin in the mid of this year.

This is the film Mohan Raja will be directing after the blockbuster and unanimously acclaimed 'Thani Oruvan'

 

Sneha is the latest addition toMohan Raja's film with Sivakarthikeyan, which, like the director's previous film, Thani Oruvan, has a socially relevant concept. The actress, we are told, will be playing a key character, which will appear throughout the film. Nayanthara is the female lead while Fahadh Faasil is said to be playing the antagonist. However, a source in the unit tells us that Sneha character's is not that of Fahadh's pair.




"Sneha was part of my first film, Hanuman Junction, in 2001. She was paired opposite Arjun in that Telugu film. I'm happy to be joining with her for the second time," says Mohan Raja, who adds that the film is now in the pre-production stage.




In addition to the Haridas actress, the untitled film will also have Thambi Ramaiah, Robo Shankar and actress Rohini in its cast. RJ Balaji and Sathish had been roped in as the comedians earlier. Composer Anirudh, cinematographer Ramji, art director T Muthuraj and stunt choreographer Anl Arasu form the film's core technical crew.
