ജെയിംസ് ആൻഡ് ആലീസ് - സുജിത് വാസുദേവ് എന്ന ഒന്നാന്തരം ക്യാമറാമാൻ സംവിധായകനായി അരങ്ങേറുംപോൾ എല്ലാവരേയും പോലെ ഞാനും ഒരല്പം കൂടുതൽ പ്രതീക്ഷയോടെയാണ് തീയറ്ററിലെത്തിയത്. ആദ്യപാതി നല്ല വിഷ്വലുകൾ മാത്രം സമ്മാനിച്ച് വലിയ പുതുമകളൊന്നും പറയാതെ കടന്നുപോയപ്പോൾ സത്യം പറയാമല്ലൊ അല്പം വിഷമം തോന്നി...പക്ഷെ രണ്ടാം പാതി....സുജിത്തേട്ടാ നിങ്ങൾ ഞെട്ടിച്ചു! വളരെ പ്രത്യേകതയുള്ള അവതരണവും വ്യത്യസ്തമായ ചിന്തയും നല്ലൊരു സന്ദേശവും തന്ന് ചിത്രം അവസാനിക്കുമ്പോൾ നിങ്ങളിലെ കലാകാരനോട് ബഹുമാനവും സ്നേഹവും കൂടി...ഇതൊരു തുടക്കം മാത്രം...ഇനിയങ്ങോട്ട് നല്ല നല്ല സിനിമകളിലൂടെ ഭാഷയുടെ അതിർവരമ്പും കടന്ന് മുന്നേറട്ടെ എന്ന് ആശംസിക്കുന്നു.പൃഥ്വിരാജും വേദികയും സായികുമാറും അടക്കമുള്ള അഭിനേതാക്കൾ സിനിമയുടെ മാറ്റുകൂട്ടുന്നു. ജെയിംസിനു പീറ്റർ പറഞ്ഞു കൊടുക്കുന്ന പാഠങ്ങൾ എങ്ങോട്ടെന്നില്ലാതെ പരക്കം പായുന്ന നമ്മളോരോരുത്തർക്കും ചില തിരിച്ചറിവുകൾ ഉറപ്പായും നൽകും എന്ന് ഞാൻ കരുതുന്നു.

After going through positive to mixed to negative reviews about this movie, I went for this movie with no expectation.

After watching this movie I felt that its not for all types of audiences. The story is about James and Alice who are busy with their professional life. James on one side is so busy that he cannot even make time for Alice and their daughter and is always over the phone even at home.

The first part of the movie shows about the ego clashes of the couple and Alice decides to file in for a divorce. However the second part has a new character coming in to the movie that shows up how could James have handled certain situations better and avoided the clashes and lived happily. People have called this character as "fantasy" but according to me this character was needed to make James realize his mistakes.

The location and cinematography are superb and so is the direction. Vedika has done the role really well and so has Prithviraj.

The total length of the movie is more than 2 hours and 40 minutes. To be honest, I did feel the lag here and there a few times.

Overall this is a good movie and is a must watch, especially for married people.
