    I love the film James and Alice: Prithviraj

    Prithviraj has always said that he does every movie with total conviction. His latest film, James and Alice, got a luke warm response at the box office, but the outcome is not a criterion, he tells us. "Regardless of the outcome, it will be one of my favourite films." The reason? "Because there are a lot of thoughts discussed in the film which are very personal for me and I agree to."

    The actor adds that initially he was surprised that the director, Sujith Vasudev, who is a cinematographer, chose such a film for his debut. "Sujith is a good friend and we have worked together earlier. But James and Alice occurs mostly within rooms, with conversations between people forming the major portion of the film. It is not a cinematographer's delight, in that there are no spectacular locations. It is not the easiest film for a debutant either, but Sujith has done an extraordinary job."

    Prithvriaj and Vedhika play a couple in the film, who go through a rocky patch in their marriage.
