Director Koratala Siva and Ram Charan Teja were to team up much earlier, but unfortunately, the project was cancelled shortly after its launch.

The director then went on to wield the megaphone for the Jr NTR and Mohanlal starrer Janatha Garage, which turned out to be a mega hit.

Now, the news is officially out that Ram Charan and Koratala Siva are teaming up and the film would go on to the floors in summer 2018.

Ram Charan would not only play the lead role in it, but also produce it under his home banner Konidela Production Company in association with Matinee Entertainments.

Putting the news out on the production house’s Twitter handle, it read, “Here you go guys! Bankrolling #RCKoratalaFilm along with Matinee entertainments. Begins Summer 2018.”

Meanwhile, both Ram Charan as well as Koratala Siva will be completing their respective films. The star is busy playing the lead role in Rangasthalam, directed by Sukumar.

Pairing up with Ram Charan for the first time in her career is Samantha and sharing the screen space with the lead pair are Aadhi Pinisetty, Jagapati Babu and Rambha. Ram Charan will be seen in never-seen-before avatar – a village lad.

On the other hand, Koratala Siva is currently wielding the megaphone for the Mahesh Babu starrer Bharath Ane Nenu. The film is touted to hit the silver screens for Sankranti next year. After he is done with this flick, the director would go on to work with Jr NTR, say sources.

With news about Koratala Siva, one of the most successful directors, and Ram Charan, a top star in Tollywood, teaming up being made official, fans are waiting eagerly to know more.

Actor Ram Charan is all set to team up with filmmaker Koratala Siva for a yet-untitled Telugu film, slated to go on the floors next summer, its makers announced on Tuesday.
The film will be jointly produced by Ram Charan and Niranjan Reddy of Matinee Entertainment, it was confirmed in a statement. The project will roll from summer of 2018. It's the first-time collaboration of Ram Charan and Koratala Siva.
The rest of the cast and crew will be finalised in due course. Currently busy shooting for Telugu rural drama Rangasthalam 1985, this will be Ram Charan's third project as producer.
His maiden production was Telugu actioner Khaidi No 150, which marked the comeback of his father Chiranjeevi. The film reportedly grossed Rs 160 crore at the box office.
Ram Charan is also bankrolling his father's next Telugu outing Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, which is a biopic on the noted freedom fighter.

Ram Charan has finally given nod to work with Koratala Siva. Both of them will be teaming up soon. After delivering a Blockbuster with ‘Khaidi No 150’ earlier this year, Ram Charan is currently producing a mammoth biopic "Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy" as Production No.2 on his banner Konidela Production Company with Megastar Chiranjeevi and director Surender Reddy.

Now he will be bankrolling this most awaited project with Koratala Siva as Production No.3 on Konidela Production Company along with Niranjan Reddy, who earlier produced films like Kshanam and Ghazi under Matinee Entertainments banner. This project will commence from Summer 2018.
