Just finished Child 44 by Tom Rob Smith. A fast paced thriller which gives an informative look at Stalin's Russia in early 1950s.A cop who is every bit part of the brutal regime has to go against every thing he stood for to stop a serial killer.The book is based on real events.(The real story was made into a TV movie called Citizen X by HBO.)The book's ending did not work for me but otherwise it's a solid read.
