The Accountant The Accountant is a fast-paced action thriller which has enough and more factors to engage you throughout its running time.A Solid Plot along with Ben Affleck's committed performance makes this a good watch.This one is a complete Ben Affeck show,he nailed it with his subtle yet powerful portrayal of the lead character.Supporting Cast were good in their respective roles. Gavin O'Conner as the director did an extremely good job,a neatly balanced package.His making was apt for a movie of this genre,slick & stylish product.Another interesting aspect of this movie is its smart twist and turns,smartly executed. Overall,The Account is a Good Action Thriller ! 7.5/10
Source Code Source Code is a smart and gripping cinema.A superbly sketched out plot has been made into an intriguing cinema,fast paced & highly enthralling.Jake Gyllenhah nailed it,fabulous performance which made the cinema even more better on the whole,intense & effective act by him.Michelle Monaghan and Vera Famriga puts up good performances in as the female leads.Supporting Cast was good. Duncan Jones deserves all the applause for making such an impressive cinema.This one is definitely not the run of the mill science fiction thrillers,a unique plot backed by a completely engaging making.In shor,this one is a definite watch. Overall,Source Code is Superb ! 8.5/10
The Magnificent Seven The Magnificent Seven is a finely crafted western action drama.The film does have the age old plot,but the makings was engaging enough to overcome that drawback.Performances are another strength of this cinema with every actor delivering their best.Denzel & Chris stands out with their superb portrayal.This movie required the swag & style of the lead cast rather than their acting brilliance. Antoine Fuqua did a pretty decent job as the director,it is indeed a clichéd stuff but was entertaining.The climax action scene was superbly shot,terrific action choreography.This one in short is a hollywood mass masala. Overall,The Magnificent Seven is Entertaining ! 7/10
Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children is a well crafted fantasy drama.The visually alluring frames & an engaging plot makes this a good watch.Performances of the lead cast forms another strength of the movie with every actor performing smartly.Eva Green in the title role is good,Asa Buttefield & the other peculiars were fine,it is Ella Purnell who steals the show with her charming screen presence & superb performance. Tim Burton,mostly known for his fantasy flicks yet again directs a movie of the same genre.He was able to make this entertaining from start to end without any dull moments.The best thing about this movie is the presence of a solid story which makes this even more interesting.Unlike many of the movies which depends on its visual grandeur,this one has an interesting tale. Overall,Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children is a Good Watch ! 7.5/10
Storks Storks is a well made animation comedy.The movie is extremely engaging & deeply absorbing.A feel- good plot has been presented with enough comedies & other entertainment factors.Voice Acting is just superb,they make it even more impressive.Andy Samberg,Katie Crown,Jennifer Aniston & the rest of the cast were really good. Nicholas Stoller-Doug Sweetland,the director duo have made an impressive animation flick which is definitely not the routine stuff.The biggest strength of this movie is of course its smart story & when it has been presented with all the needed ingredients,its a definite watch. Overall,Storks is Really Impressive ! 8/10
Captain Fantastic Captain Fantastic is a beautiful family drama.A thought provoking theme has been made into a well polished & highly engaging cinema.Performance of the lead cast is just fabulous.Viggo Mortensen delivers one of his finest performance till date,he plays the character to perfection.The 6 children were too good out of which Samantha Isler is the best,extremely gorgeous & smart performance. Kudos to Matt Ross for making such a joyous film,superb direction in all means.His making is really impressive,subtle & hard-hitting.The Soundtracks & Visuals forms another integral aspect in making this a top-notch cinema,not departments were fabulous.In short,you are gonna fall in love with the weirdest family. Overall,Captain Fantastic is Beautiful ! 9/10
Sings Street Sing Street is a marvelously crafted feel-good musical drama.The soothing songs along with some fabulous performances makes this a great cinema.Ferdia Walsh Peelo did a commendable job,Lucy Boynton is good,Jack Reynor is superb.Supporting Cast were good. John Carney as the director did a tremendous job,masterfully crafted.The way he blended the scenes along with that amazing songs makes it charming.This cinema definitely tops among the musical-drama genres,you can't afford to miss this. Overall,Sing Street is Great - Loved it ! 9.5/10
Hunt for the Wilderpeople Hunt for the Wilderpeople is a beautifully crafted comedy drama.The film has a simple theme which has been executed superbly,the makers have made a quality cinema in all means.The performances of the lead cast strengthens this movie largely,brilliantly acted.Both Sam Neill & Julian Dennison delivered fantastic performances,there onscreen chemistry is something to watch out for.Supporting Cast were good,one actor to be mentioned is Rhys Darby as psycho sam,he is sure to make you laugh - one hell of a performance. Taika Watiti made a wholesome cinematic experience.He made this cinema lively & engaging,he was also able to bring out the best from his actors.His making is highly impressive,it was raw & engaging.Climax portions were really good,it was really moving & feel good.In short,this one is a must watch. Overall,Hunt for the Wilderpeople is a Must Watch ! 9/10
Murder on the Orient Express Considered to be one of the greatest murder mystery ever made,this is basically an adaptation of Agatha Christie's novel of the same name.This film was a serious competitor during the 47th academy awards,but honestly i didn't find this much interesting.It may be due to the fact the movie lost its freshness since it was released about 42 years ago.Even the performances appear to be highly dramatic while watching this today. Overall,Give it a try if you really want to !
Doctor Strange Doctor Strange is a visual grandeur in all means.Superbly acted & amazingly crafted,this one offers you wholesome entertainment.It can be termed as one of Marvel's best,both in technical & cinematic quality.Bennedict Cumberbatch nailed it,such a brilliant & restrained portrayal of a superhero,kudos to this fantastic actor.Supporting cast were good. Directed by Scott Derrickson,Doctor Strange is thoroughly entertaining.The pacy narration backed by superb performance & top-notch vfx,this one completely engages you.The vfx works is indeed one of the best ever in hollywood.In short,Doctor Strange is a visual extravaganza. Overall,Doctor Strange is a Must Watch !
