Official Thread Suriya reunites with Vikram Kumar after superhit sci-fic thriller '24TheMovie'

Actor Suriya is now all set and ready to celebrate Pongal with the release of his next film, Thaana Serndha Koottam. After TSK, he will be starring in Selvaraghavan's next and there are also talks that he will be the lead in Lokesh Kanagaraj's next.


After these projects, we hear that Suriya will be recombining with his hit director, Vikram K Kumar (24). It was widely reported that Suriya revealed it in a recent press meet. Following that, we immediately contacted Vikram to extract more details about the project. In an exclusive conversation, Vikram Kumar said,


"After 24, Suriya sir and I have really been looking forward to working with each other again. Yes, we will definitely do a movie. We have met a few times and I will be running some ideas by him. I will probably take another six months to write something and once Suriya sir approves something, we'll immediately do the film. This will be my next film after my project in Telugu with Naga Chaitanya."

 

PROJECT CONFIRMED BY DIRECTOR HIMSELF

 

Impressed with his work in Hello, Akkineni Nagarjuna requested director Vikram Kumar to work with his elder son Naga Chaitanya. Vikram had earlier directed Manam which starred three generations of the Akkineni family. On the otherside, Vikram Kumar is also commited to helm a megaphone for Suriya. Many thought he would first work with Suriya and then take up Naga Chaiatnya’s project which will be bankrolled under the banner of Annapurna Studios. But, now it has come out that Suriya cannot adjust his dates and can adjust the dates only four months later. So, Vikram Kumar is planning to make a movie with Naga Chaitanya first.



On the other side, currently Naga Chaitanya is busy in his upcoming project Savyasachi, written and directed by Chandoo Mondeti, in which Bollywood actress Niddhi Agerwal is playing the female lead. Apart from the lead pair, the film has R. Madhavan, Bhumika Chawla and Dishita Sehgal in supporting role.
