This week is allocated to two major dubbing films to get their due Box Office share before Ramcharan’s ‘Dhruva’ arrives in theaters on Dec 9th. They are ‘Bethaludu’ starring Vijay Anthony and ‘Manyam Puli’ from Mohan Lal.
As per the trade reports received, ‘Bethaludu’ continued the ‘Bichagadu’ craze in market and pulled off decent openings on day 1. Although, the psychological thriller opened to divided reviews on day 1, this hasn’t affected the gathering of crowds. With Rs. 1.6 Crores share collected in Telugu states, definitely there are high chances for ‘Bethaludu’ to pick today and tomorrow if audiences in lower order centers connect with promotions.
‘Manyam Puli’ starring Mohan Lal, dubbed from Malayalam industry hit ‘Puli Murugan’ served a superb visual feast for Telugu cinema lovers yesterday. Opened to unique positive reactions, probably this tiger hunt film will chase the bogged down drug theme in ‘Bethaludu.’
So, it will be an interesting clash for next two days at Box Office… Vijay Anthony got a much needed image while Mohan Lal secured a positive word of mouth talk. Let’s see, how the battle ends.
