Watched U-turn. Decent attempt. But all plot "twists" are predictable. Just don't have that "sit up and take notice" effect. We all curse the divider blocks that have been moved onto the road on the Double Road flyover. But rarely do we take any action about it. Kudos to Pawan Kumar who made a movie about it. But with audience who break a traffic signal the moment they step out of the cinema hall, I just don't think this one will have the desired impact. I would also have preferred a good old fashioned serial killer, I rarely enjoy films about the supernatural. Unlike usual Kannada movies where the actors are over the top and dramatic, the movie does see some restrained performances from the entire cast, no matter how small the screen time is. That is one definite plus. You could may be watch it once to kill time, its a decent attempt and if it knocks some traffic sense into you, thats a bonus.I would rate it 2.897/5
