When Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn and Saif Ali Khan supported Sanjay Dutt – view pic!

Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt‘s friendship is known to everyone. Their films together, which surprisingly are only two Sajaan and Chal Mere Bhai, if you don’t consider the special appearances, were liked by many. They have been friends since a long time now. You must have seen Sanjay and Salman hosting one of the seasons of Bigg Boss. In fact, Salman at present is waiting for Sanjay to finish his sentence and come out of jail so that he can throw a party in his honour. That’s how close they are. But it seems it’s not just Salman who is fond of Sanjay. An old picture that we stumbled upon shows Ajay Devgn, Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar supporting Sanjay at a time when the actor was sentenced to a jail term many years back.

Saif is almost unrecognisable in the picture. We have hardly seen him in a haircut like that. Salman next to him was really young then and is every bit dashing. He was amazingly handsome in those days. Just those twinkling eyes were enough to disarm anyone. Akshay with his glares and wind ruffled hair is looking quite the stud. But we wonder what Ajay Devgn was thinking since he is wearing a completely differently look on his face. Also, he isn’t even carrying the pamphlet that all other three have in their hands “SANJU, We’re With You.” Guess we would have to ask Ajay why he was wearing such an expression!

Akshay Kumar completes silver jubilee in Bollywood with AIRLFT.

2016 is indeed a special year for our actor Akshay Kumar. Not only because he will be seen in three diverse genre films like AIRLIFT (thriller), HOUSEFULL 3 (comedy) and RUSTOM (suspense thriller) but the year will also mark his silver jubilee in the industry. It was way back in 1991 when the Khiladi Kumar made his big screen debut with Raakhee and Shantipriya in SAUGANDH. And now the versatile actor will be celebrating 25 successful years with the advent of 2016.

Interestingly, Akshay Kumar's upcoming film AIRLIFT is releasing around the same time when his first movie SAUGANDH had released. While SAUGANDH had released on January 25, 1991, his much touted AIRLIFT is slated to hit the screens on January 22nd, 2016. So, in a way Akshay will come full circle with AIRLIFT.

With over 100 films to his credit in Bollywood and delivering at least three releases on an average each year, Akshay Kumar is undoubtedly the master juggler of Bollywood.

Of the last two and half decade of entertaining Bollywood buffs, the last few years have seen the actor steal the screen by giving critical performances in thrillers like HOLIDAY, SPECIAL 26, and BABY to out and out action masala movies like ROWDY RATHORE, winning hearts in family dramas such as WAQT and PATIALA HOUSE and leaving audiences in splits with laugh riots like HOUSEFULL and SINGH IS KINNG.

We wish the actor continues his master streak for another 25 years and even completes a golden jubilee in the industry.

Not easy to get Akshay on board for new projects: Nikhil Advani.

They have collaborated on three projects but director-producer Nikhil Advani says getting actor friend Akshay Kumar on board for a film is not an easy task.

Nikhil has worked with Akshay in his directorial ventures "Chandni Chowk to China" and "Patiala House", and his upcoming production "Airlift".

"Nothing is easy in this industry. We are good friends. It's okay, but that alone doesn't work. Akshay is known for his comedy and action films. This film (Airlift) doesn't have these things, it has drama. There is brand new Akshay Kumar (in the film)," Nikhil told PTI.

The 44-year-old director revealed at first he did not offer "Airlift" to Akshay as he thought the "Baby" actor would not like the concept.

"I was talking to him for some other film and just spoke to him in general about this idea ('Airlift'). He was like why I am not talking about it. I felt he would not do it. But he liked it. He likes good scripts," he said.

"Airlift" is about Ranjit Katyal (played by Akshay Kumar), a wealthy and powerful Indian businessman based in Kuwait, who with the help of the Indian government safely evacuated 170,000 Indians back to their country.

On the research for "Airlift", Nikhil said, "I read the two articles... We tried to get more information. We met those people, who became victims of the situation. We also met pilots, who were part of evacuation process."

The "Kal Ho Na Ho" director said he did not think it was a risk to produce "Airlift" as he likes to be associated with good stories.

Nikhil, however, felt it was not right for him to direct the film. "Airlift" has been directed by Raja Menon.

"He is a very competent director. He's very passionate about the story. It would be unfair on my part to just direct the film. I don't just want to be a director. I want to produce good films as well." Releasing on January 22, "Airlift" also stars Nimrat Kaur in the lead role

    Namastey England Postponed?

According to sources close to Akshay Kumar, after the actor finishes shooting for Housefull 3 and he’s done with the Airlift promotions, he will start with Rustom. Kumar has not signed any other film after Rustom. There’s also talk in the trade that Kumar will be seen in Vipul Shah’s next directorial Namastey England with Sonakshi Sinha. According to sources, the film will roll by the end of 2016. The actor is also talking to AR Murugadoss, and Kumar wants to start by June. But Shah denies this, saying, “Namastey England starts in March.” SO, only Kumar can confirm this.

PS: Sonakshi Sinha, who is doing Force 2, has to rework her dates as John Abraham’s injury has put the shoot on hold. But the actress will complete Force 2 before she starts any other film.

Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn fans have started trending some never before seen hashtag boycott an award ceremony. Fans are claiming that missing movies like ‘Drishyam’ and ‘Baby’ is a new low for the entertainment industry. However Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam and Akshay’s Baby is available in editor’s choice option.
