    Akshay Kumar, who is currently on a vacation with family, is reportedly roped in for director Omung Kumar's next. The director, who earlier made biopics like 'Mary Kom' and 'Sarabjit', has reportedly approached Akshay for the lead role in his next film which is said to be psychological thriller. The actor reportedly liked the plot of the film. As per latest reports, Akshay may be playing multiple characters in the film. The buzz is that the film might be titled 'Five' and Akshay might be seen playing five different personas.

    Cheeni Kum, Shamitabh, Ki and Ka - having known for experimenting with his films, R Balki is all set to come up with yet another exciting venture next year with Amitabh and Akshay.

    Yup, its happening and we ain’t bluffing! Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar are all set to reunite on the big screen with R Balki’s next. The filmmaker, who last helmed Ki and Ka has decided to cast them together for his next venture which will kick off next year, according to a leading daily. Cheeni Kum, Shamitabh, Ki and Ka – having known for experimenting with his films, R Balki is all set to come up with yet another exciting venture next year with Amitabh and Akshay. We saw them last in Rajkumar Santoshi’s Family: Ties of Blood. Before that Big B had played Akshay’s father in Vipul Shah’s 2005 family drama Waqt: Race Against Time and prior to that they appeared together in Rajkumar Santoshi’s Khakee where Akki played a fellow cop in the film.
    The filmmaker met Akshay for a narration last month itself and he seemed to have liked the script. He has given a nod for the film and this is the first time when R Balki and Akshay will be working together. Akshay was Balki’s first choice for the film and the actor was more than happy when he got to know that, states Mumbai Mirror.
